A minirank for EVERY section

Suggestion to include mini-ranks for every sections not just support/community/sf/sb/sfa but like all sections from 'gold trader mini ranks' to 'media' mini-ranks just wherever users become active in sections.

Excluding of course sections such as report a scammers, dispute forum etc...

Could we have some creative users design some un-tradable mini ranks for all the sections on sythe. Considering mini-ranks have become a real craze it wouldn't really be much of an eye soar and might even motivate some to get involved in certain sections that don't receive as much traffic as others.

 

I see your point in that it will possibly attract more people to post more often on different sections, but it could just as easily bring in lots of unnecessary spam. Right off the bat I think it -may- be a bad idea, but i'd like to hear what others have to say before being so conclusive about my answer.

 

I can see your point but if someone post spam it can easily be reported and removed. But i know what you mean, people might just try to post pointless messages or keep a conversation going on for longer then need be, but is that necessarily a bad thing? Considering it would still keep those areas active ?

Well I personally think a section should be active for its content and not just over a minirank...

A minirank for 'goldselling' or 'account trading' imo is silly. Probably tons of persons are just gonna start posting asking silly questions and never actually buying anything just to get posts in the section to get the minkranks. And on what sections in particular do you think there's inactivity? From what i've seen the only sections that were sometimes pretty 'dead' were the Scar/Simba ones and they were removed (I think?).
There's a decent amount of activity on every other section, but again that's just in my eyes.

 

I don't support. There's no reason to do it, it's just a waste of time. It won't bring extra activity. People in the market are gonna stay in the market 90% of the time.

Then there would be like a billion mini ranks.. I think they look ridiculous when people have too many. With one for every section, the people who already have a ton would just be spamming up the place with mini ranks.

One line of miniranks is enough, 2 is a bit, with this you could get 4-5 lines of miniranks. It would degrade other miniranks as well.

 

If anything they should be added for smaller sections and removed for sections like the spam forum and sandbox. Technology, Media, Community, Other Games, and perhaps some other small ones should have them as it might encourage people to go there and post.

 

Mini ranks are just pointless anyway tbh so no.

 

The market shouldn't have one at all but sections like general OT, SFA, media, technology should get one as well.

 

I personally support it. I'm not kind of spammer, and let's be honest if you dont post 15 or 10 times in certain section you wont get minirank. Chances on getting one outside spam forum / sandbox are close to zero

 

I think from the clear reactions of people and the lack of support that this can go to denied suggestions..
