All I see now is cheap Runecoins. Thanks Jagex....

Just bought 5 bonds for 8 mil each. I like it ^_^

14 days of membership and my dragon keys I have been wanting for a while.

Lol when you think about it though this will make setting up/maintaining a botfarm much less of a hassle when the prices inevitably crash due to oversupply

"We have a major problem with rwt in the game"

...So we've decided to release official real world trading. Meh

Its an interesting concept though, wondering if it'll do any good as a gold sink.

I just bought ~5 but had to do it 1 at a time.

Could you put it buy offers for more than 1?

You have to buy them one at a time. I guess if that is the one draw back.. Lol

Honestly don't think it will be very effective in 'eradicating RWT' as they claim. Only time will tell how things will unfold but i'm pretty sure RWT market will continue as it is.

    8m for a bond = $0.625/M

GP from the market buffs goes for $0.30/M lol

At least this decreases the price of memberships, anyone know if this works for refer a friend?

    28 days membership = 2 bonds = 8m x 2 = 16m EOC @ $0.30/M = $4.80 per account

    Game Card = 3m OSRS GP @ $2/M = $6 = 2 memberships (refer a friend) = $3 per account

It is, but buying bonds is safer, easier and convenient so it can stay well above third party sellers.

Yeah that really only works for botters though, for those looking to make 1 account members bonds is definitely the way to go.

I can see game card prices decreasing a bit, but if you can buy bonds from Jagex I don't think many people are going to purchase game cards from 7-11 for resale (except kids that get cash allowance and want to exchange it for RSGP via that method)

not really, why would anyone (except someone paranoid who has severe trust issues or anyone who doesn't know much about gold sellers) pay around 200% price for gold lol

I'd probably be willing to pay double if it was simple, guaranteed, and directly through Jagex without any risk to my account. I'd much prefer that to a gold seller especially when dealing with my high level account that I'd really hate to lose.

Again, I'm not sure the solution to rwt is rwt'ing but we all knew it was bound to happen eventually :/

I only plan to buy bonds if they stay at the current low price to feed my rune coin addiction.

I think it depends on how much you're looking to buy, as the price of bonds decreases it'll go even higher. 8m upon release only means it'll only go downhill until it stabilizes.

A lot of people buy hundreds of mils to buy the best armor/weapons. If you're going to be purchased 300m for example, why pay $180 via Jagex when you can purchase it for $90 from a gold seller?

Also the buyer usually isn't affected, it's the seller's mule accounts that get wiped for RWT

Basically, this is going to stop complete morons from RWT'ing. If it's RuneCoins or some alternate non-membership reward that people are after, all JaGeX has done is make RWT even more desirable - more bang for players' bucks.
