Sad to say, staking is dead after all the RWT'ers quit. I personally box stake so that has nothing to do with PID really . Will the 07 gp market crash now?

Staking isn't dead at all. Removal of PID has made a small dent, if even that. Now staking can just continue and grow without people having an unfair advantage. No downside to it, if you ask me.

As for the shameless advertising, exchanging is and always will be safer using one of the sellers right here on Sythe, not in some shady little clan chat.

I thought it was fairly clear, my bad.. I'm of the opinion that exchanging is 100% more secure using a trusted gold seller here on Sythe who offers EOC <> 07, rather than trusting some randomer in a shady little clan chat with your gold.

 

The new PID is dumb, it changes who hits first a lot..

well i'm more afraid of coinshare when GWD comes out, that would hurt the market even more in my opnion.

The OSRS market is going up due to ban sprees and that update, but it's gonna crash hard in a few weeks when coinshare comes out with GWD, as bandos splits are gonna be decent.

 

Correct me if I'm wrong, but coin share required the GE, no? The whole idea was that the item was sold via the GE and the resulting coins split between players. So with no GE, how would they add that?

I've heard that they are not having a coinshare or lootshare option for that matter? That's only what I've heard through videos though. Also @ PID I think it should work the same way EOC does it works fine except for all the stalls in EOC.

 

This, if anything people will go to the arena now that they don't have to pay for PID.

and @ OP, staking isn't dead actually, PID removal brought more people to the arena, because previously, all the .0 stakers were just cleaning the clueless noobs, now that everyone is on the same playing field, they made the income at the arena more evenly distributed.

 

Staking is supposed to be a gamble, why is it bad that they removed pid? Noone is supposed to have an unfair advantage imo. Staking isnt close to dead just because some rwters that cant man up and take a risk quit.

Coinshare is definitely not coming. Lootshare is though I've heard, so people camping might be able to get a few decent drops in a row, make 600m in a day, so they've made like $1k in a few hours bossing.

 

Lootshare isn't coming either at this point, they are adding a loot announcement feature though so people can't lie about what dropped.
