Employers should encourage their workers and employees to attend health and safety training. Workers should be adequately trained to handle the various equipments and machineries. There are several methods that can be implemented as a result of health and safety training. These training should be provided by all hazardous industry. Effective training programs reduce the number of accidents and injuries. These training programs are beneficial to all workers and employees, especially to those working in hazardous industries. Training programs analyse the various risks and hazards of various industries and work sites. It also probes into the causes of accidents and these causes can be eliminated from the work site. It provides information to improve the health and safety of workers. These training can be applied to the work site and it will improve the safety conditions at work. Most of the training programs propagate safety and the various measures to implement safety at work. These training programs equip the workers to work safely and identify the risk factors and hazards - fire, electricity and chemicals have been identified as common hazards at work. Several safety measures can be implemented such as protective equipments, all workers should be provided protective gear such as helmets, masks, goggles, gloves and boots.
