Fractured/cracked text effect C4D?

Hello everyone I see this effect a lot, I believe it's done in C4D and i'd really love to learn how to do it, so could you please tell me? Thanks

The text here is fractured....



Here there are random shards of... blue metal? shooting off, i'd love to know how to do this as well!



And finally here there is like a powder shooting off, This looks awesome as well.

for the most part it looks like somthing like the explosion effect in c4d.

 

So kinda like I pretend i'm doing an animation and use explosion but then don't key frame it and just leave it there?

Ugh just tried explosion, and it makes the pieces go really little and they actually break away from the word, I want it just to be cracked. I tried thrausi, after I clicked break it made lots of pieces, now how do I move them slightly at random directions to get that nice crack effect? If you know.

 

any update on this please?

 

They're done in a program other than Photoshop most likely. Some other animation software. I don't think it's some kind of preset, so explaining would take a while from the person who created those. Basically, what I'm trying to say is that I don't think its where you just click a button to achieve those effects.

 

Ahhh well, thanks so much for the help, I guess i'll just have to try other affects.

 

Text of 2nd and 3rd are made in Cinema 4D.
Animations most likely in after effects.
