Where should I get 96-99 magic?

What is the cheapest or best way to get the last 3 levels for my cape?

I was thinking alching maybe something profitable or fletching something myself thoughts?

 

Alching is a very good method because almost all items are alch price which makes almost no loss. Regardless of the method it shouldn't cost more than 2m ish which is like 60 cents. If you wanted to go a faster method I'd recommend bursting dagannoths. It used to be the most overpowered experience but it's still really good.

 

Alching is decent, it's like 70k xp/hr but it's profitable.

 

Autoclick alching in soul wars, my friend did it from 55-99 was quick and didnt get banned

 

However now they are cracking down on bots more so do it at your own risk

 

If you're alching, remember there are no randoms in RS3 anymore, so you can do it pretty much anywhere. Populated places might actually be better now.

 

if you have the money, I did ice barrage on the skeletons in the cave of mm quest.

 

Want to get charms too though

 

Take a cannon, cannon balls and blood barrage runes to dagannoths, near the entrance to water birth dungeon before the doors. Set up a cannon in the spot with most dagannoth. Turn on auto retaliate and stand in the cannon and fill it with cannonballs. Get your adrenaline bar full, go back outside and turn momentum on. Come back in and place the cannon again. Just keep refilling the cannon. With auto retaliate and blood barrage, you won't really need food. But bring some incase.

Charming imp is almost a requirement if you're after charms. Also a bone crusher and herbicide would also give some bonus XP. But make sure you check the floor for any effigies, archer, farseer, warrior or berserker helmets.

 

if you have rsgp, do it with superheat, over 100k magic and 100k smithing xp per hour

 

Why not just alch that shit nigga easy as dirt.

 

I heard rock barrage or whatever at dag's is the way to go now.

My rationale has always been that in RuneScape, time is definitely money. The time saved by taking a faster route through training can be spent making more money than you save in the first place with a cheaper method.

 

Dagganoths are really fast, they are weak to earth spells, so anything to do with multi-casting earth spells you'll wreck them really fast and you'll barely need food there.

I did a combination of Superheat/Plank make and Blood Bursting at the Abyss. Was averaging about 450k an hour.

There is a lot of ways you can efficiently train this skill...as well as others at the same time...I'll list the method(s) and you can look into the gp/xp and xp/hr rates; Here are some ideas;

If you just want MAGIC XP ONLY;
Alching (of course) - Boring, but can be profitable

MTA (Mage training arena) - not the quickest, but yields a nice sum of GP

Basic Magic combat training - through spells via Slayer? Dungeoneering? Gano's (for gp)? etc. which ever you prefer

Efficiency route(s)
Other methods that yield xp in other skills;

Alching while fishing, mining, woodcutting - Doesn't intterupt current skill being trained. Which means in the long run your saving yourself a lot of game ticks as well as time in-game training...ahhh, efficient c:

Superheating Gold Bars via LRC - again, no loss of game ticks, and by the time you hit 99 mining you will have about 93-95ish smithing, well over 99 magic.

If it is in your desire to raise your summoning level or even go for 99, it would be profficient to burst/barrage rock lobsters for the high charm drop rates and awesome magic xp / hour...Reqs include; 86-91 magery, ancient magiks unlocked.

these are just a few of the countless many many many ways of training magic. methods I posted include time efficiency, low and high gp / xp rates,
low and high xp / hr rates, etc...all depends on how much money you want to spend/gain, and how much xp / hr your willing to train at...its all up to you bud c: hope this helped!
