Purchasing a UI

The first one isn't bad, not dark enough (looking for a charcoal grey) and the X and U are too close to each other, as if they're almost touching.

 

Grey is ex mod color. Your ui should be white.

 

I was told I could have Grey, as asapgang's is grey too.

I think the point we're both trying to establish is that obviously that rule is a bit outdated as there are multiple users (as shown above) with color in their UI's.

 

And I'm giving guidance based off of what's clearly written. If I were the one handling the UI's, I'd have never let those ones through, and I don't know why Matthew would seeing as they're his rule set.

 

Well, some of the ones shown I made, and I didn't make them grey. The Heeatz one is white, clearly, and the I_Love_La one some how turned out darker than I had made it. I do slightly agree, that Sellerman and ASAPgang should have UI's that are more white. Although, is Ex-Mod actually a usergroup? Ex Mod's that I've seen don't have grey text as their name... Unless I just skipped by it quickly.

 

Matthew approves them, and he has clearly set precedents for what's acceptable through what he has and hasn't accepted. Therefore, the completely white rule clearly isn't exactly important anymore. It's smart on his part anyway because it encourages more people to donate to sythe if cool mildly colorful UI's are accepted.

It's $200 for a little bit of color in some pixels smh

 

Yes, ex mod and ex admin are actual user groups, they just don't have a dedicated text color.

 

I know what it says, I've read it.

I assume(d) that rule is outdated as other users have clearly demonstrated, the user images with color being applied - it no longer applies.

I have no problem requesting one with white, but if I'm going to be moderated the color I'm allowed to have, I don't expect to be the only one, after all, they all essentially cost the same price. Unless however, different members money have different benefits that I'm unaware of.

To deter future strokes due to having a grey user image, I would like to see if anyone could possibly make a camouflage theme -

I am a fan of the gun, a lot. I'm not a fan of the grass, font or camouflage color. I don't want the classic army camo, looking for a hunting camo - real tree or mossy oak.

He hasn't broken this rule at all? If you look one is 6am and the other 6pm, which is more than 8 hours.
