Do I need a middleman for Western Union?

I don't have a bank account yet, so idk how else to get money besides Western Union money transfer.
Idk how this thing works, but I've heard people sending and receiving money through it. So do I need to get a middleman for this?
Any kind of help will be appreciated.

 

Yes, if the person whom you are trading with is "untrustworthy" from your perspective, as in - you don't think they are going to send you the money and you will be going first, I highly recommend using a middleman.

Example; you are selling 10M 07GP to the buyer, he offers to use WU as payment, you will give the middleman the 10M 07GP, once he confirms he will ask for the buyer to send you the WU cash order direct, once you confirm that the middleman will then relay the 10M 07GP to the buyer accordingly.

 

In regards to the actual process of WU, no, you don't need a middleman. However in regards to the trade between you and another user - if you find said user untrustworthy, then yes, a middleman/OMM, is always a great option.

If you dont trust user you can use Middleman
Some middlemans dont accept IRL funds, but WU in 3-way trade is very safe, so it'll just have some additional costs. In trade just between you and user it's basicly trust trade. If person you are trading with is trusted, you don't really need middleman.
In most cases middleman holds gold/account until Western Union payment is PICKED (it can be cancelled earlier before it's picked, you should tell middleman to wait until you pick payment in WU store to deliver goods to buyer)

 

I haven't used Western Union but from what I have heard it is safe, even though there are some high fees . So in summary if you are going second you should be safe and won't need a middleman since they can't charge back once you've picked up the payment from your nearest Western Union Store

 

This basically, 3 way WU is safer, the only possible scam if you dont do this is if you are on your way to WU, they could cancel it or give you a fake mctn. They change their name for a second to yours and say you picked it up. Its happened to me before on MSN. Luckily frenzy was our MM and she picked up on it, and the branch was a 2min walk away from me. As long as you find a MM that knows this, you will be fine. It can be tracked online too.

 

Pretty much, 3 way WU trades are super safe, but you're gonna get ripped off by WU's fees for 2 transactions. If you get one person to hold the gold, wait for the WU to be sent, and collected, then give the gold to the other person, the trade is still as safe IMO, just the fees aren't as high.
