Do you feel safe?

Safe enough. I live in a student area which is sort of quiet, but then again I'm never really walking around alone late at night anyway

 

Bumping this. Hope some of you will include your location as well when posting, makes this whole thinks a lot more interesting...

 

Yes. I'm a big lad, and I rarely get into any sort of confrontation with anyone where I live.

 

I feel safe all of the time and I'm always on a late night walk. I usually take this one wooded area street as well when I'm out but the only thing you'll probably come across is a deer or some stray cats/rabbits that love to hit up the more populated areas of town at night, lol.

 

I live in Salt lake city, Utah.

Never felt scared walking around really.

OT: Where I live is pretty shitty when it comes to 'feeling safe' but meh.

 

Crime is honestly so random, and anyone that says there's no crime where they live is just lying... it's everywhere. Unless you live in some sort of distant wasteland. I live in a big urban area, where crime rates are very high, I feel safe if I'm with someone, hell I could wonder around all night! But when I'm alone and there's no conversation, my mind becomes over-active and thinks of worst case scenarios and things. I'm 15 though, so I can't really defend myself all that well against men... Scary thoughts.

 

Don't want to jinx it lol, but yeah my place is very safe. Hardly anything happens around here and it is very quiet with the occasional one guy that has music blasting from his car. There are a lot of nice expensive cars that are always parked outside and they never have been broken into or messed with. There was this one neighbor who we somehow were "friends" with though who would cause trouble as he was a narcissist. He would put nails in everyone's tires, do a job and not finish, drink and drive, and steal too often - way too often. He got caught stealing copper and was deported to Russia and now it has been great here ever since. From the decade of years I lived here, there was only one incident that happened where a woman was kidnapped from this car wash down the block, but they caught him and saved her a few minutes later.

Only thing that sucks around here lately is loose pitbulls (yes they are always pitbulls). Have been attacked before and have a huge phobia of them.

Like someone said, nowhere is really safe lol. You could even be living with someone who might just snap and do something out of the ordinary...o.o

 

I do not. I fear impending tragedy.

 

Fuck no. Recently moved to the ghetto. Crimes are not a rare occurance where I live.

 

Yeah, I live in a nice city with not a lot of criminality.
So I'd say 98%+ of the time I feel safe

 

I feel safe where I live, the neighbor hood is nice in general, so yeah

 

No, I feel like it's dangerous to walk around alone/at night.

 

From where I live, walking alone after 9pm is dangerous, because the road gets lonely and you'll hardly see a soul there, besides street dogs but they aren't going to help you when you've been attacked by a stranger.

 

Yes, I live in a small community town in the suburbs so theres nothing really to worry about here.

 

Yes, the neighborhood is almost entirely lit by streetlamps, I've met most of the neighbors and they are great people

I'm from the UK. Yeah I feel pretty safe when walking round my area. Only been in trouble once which I made the mistake of walking past a shithole pub - won't make that mistake again.

I live in pretty safe area but from time to time i hear shots at night (Usually around 1-3 am)
