Best Item to Alch for Profit on RS07?

I need some ideas, i have enough nature runes to get to 99. But i want to alch something that i will get profit or little loss. I heard iron plates were good, but i cant finding anyone selling them in bulk. Please help.

 

They will be very difficult to find in bulk, from my recollection, alchin maple longbow (u) and willow longbow (u) is the best, profitability wise - you still lose, but not as much you would doing yew longs.

I don't think you can alch items that are good for budget and earn profit , because most items you alch you loose money

 

Nothing you can buy big amounts of are profitable, just some bows which you will still take a loss on, look on the alch calc for the '07 Servers.

 

Best option is to fletch your own bows. Depending on how much you pay for logs/strings, it's possible to make a very small profit on each bow.

Magic log (1100) + bowstring (120) + nature rune (220) = 1440gp spent on one alch. Magic longbows alch for 1536gp.

 

There's actually many things you can create on your own to alch for profit, while simply buying nature runes.

 

Obviously if you gather either the nature, or what you're alching yourself then you will profit, but if you're solely purchasing things, you won't find items in bulk like ASAP said. Just calculate how much you lose on the different bows when you go to alch.

(nature price) + (bow price) - (Alch price of bow) / 65 (Magic xp earned from 1 alch) = Gp/Xp.

Not only is it hard to find a supplier with a large stock but they'd be quite expensive to buy in bulk. There are indeed cheaper alternatives floating around.

I'd recommend looking into bows/arrows/jewelry.

 

If you have the fletching level, I'd go with making the yew long/magic longs, buying the nats, and alching that way. You will make a decent profit to 99 that way.
