Revision of Donor Perks

Superman said he'd bring Multiple UI's and more up with the staff team for high donors.

Well, as of right now Matt's been busy so we've got to wait. I'll see if I can bring this to his attention when he's back in action.

 

I find it hard to believe that there isn't an easy way to select the high donors and lump them into a new group... but I don't know how you guys are recording information. It sounds like a bad system, though, so it'd probably be better to change it. In a good system, you would be able to change all the donors in an instance (have a column for donor amount?).

I sound like a cunt though =p. I hope for the best for you guys who spent so much money (though made so much more -whistles-).

 

You'd think that splitting groups up would take less effort than doing everything manually.

 

The system is highly automated. Splitting the groups and properly assigning the system and the current donors to the new groups would be a lengthy process.

 

Surely the lengthy process would be worth it in the long run? I mean, it would make it so much easier to give new perks to donors etc.

I think it is something Matt should consider tbh.

Where exactly is Matt? Im certain theres a ton of UI/Custom Donor Ranks for him to approve also.

"are able to" should be the key phrase... pretty sure they leave stuff like that as a non priority (although if n4n0 or roary are reading this approve my UI pleashh )

 

Actually, I think Matthew's the only one able to upload and set username images. Ontopic: I'll be posting results of the staff discussion on the donor perks soon... hopefully...

 

Admins can update User Titles (Govind has done a few of mine), but seems likely that only Matthew can do the images - I've been waiting about 10 days for mine, so here's hoping.

I think UI should be 100 and custom rank should be 200, 300+ should get the perks discussed by n4n0 (2 UI's/larger inbox/limited ad space) ... I'm not saying this cause I'm a 200 donor I'm saying this because 100 donor perk seems very crap that should be with 50, it doesn't motivate anyone to donate 100 or an extra 50 just to put color in there UT

Here's what I gather from the discussion: we (staff) want the multiple UIs for $200+, possibly 1 UI for $200, 2 UIs for $350, and 3 UIs for $500. There was some opposition to a donor minirank exclusive to $100 donors, but many of us are OK with it.

 

The UI donation thing is brilliant, as it gives higher donors a perk that they've been waiting for.

 

Thanks for the update Superman. I dont see an issue with a minirank for $100 donors tbh, will satisfy the minirank whores xD
