    use photoshop for all of your raster images and photo editing. but if you are going to do like acutle 3d work then get c4d.

    You should add Blender to the list of free programs. It's good for creating 3D text and shapes if you don't have C4D :)

    I think there are ways to get multiple photoshop CC trials like forever but im not sure if they're allowed to be disclosed here, besides i cbf doing that and i'm just sticking with CS2 since i'm shit with whatever program I use XD

    practice makes perfect. it just takes time. just ask anyone who is good at graphics, how long they have been doing it for. most will say at least a year plus. like me i've been doing it for about 5 years.

    I used to use Photoshop CS2 forever ago, I miss it. I would recommend over the other things, I personally hate GIMP.

    yes i started with gimp then went to photoshop cs5, when my trial ran out i wnt back to gimp and hated it. now i just use cc
