WTF is going on here?

On my way to gnome stronghold from ardy for a farming run and I came across this... All these demons just chilling attacking each other. wtf is going on?

 

Its the Demon Mob. You kill them for the loot and exp. They randomly spawn all over the world.

 

Oh really? what do they drop? dam

 

They drop random crap, I don't think it's very good though.
