Are male superior over women?

How about you keep your hands to yourself and don't fight anyone, male or female. No one has the right to physically hurt someone, if your life is not in danger then remove yourself from the situation. Real men fight with their knowledge not with their fists. You seem to lack basic morals but judging by how you grew up, there's no reason for you to have any. If you're going to act like a caged animal, expect to be treated as one I can see lots of jail time in your future.

 

agreed maybe sportwise we are superior but women are more flexible and there are lots of things women are better at also lots of things man are better at. I think you need 1 of each to make it fit. a man cant do anything on his own(lonely, cant make kids etc.) same for a women ofcourse there are gay people which i dont mind and i hang out with some but there arent 2 genders without a reason lol

 

Technically a whole society of females could exist, they could use artificial ways to reproduce, since all you need are two gametes including an egg cell, regardless if its an egg and sperm or egg and egg. If they can reproduce to keep an on-going society I'm sure they could figure out how to efficiently do everything else that needs doing.

It is society/media that makes it seem as males are more superior than females.

I think both side has its up and downs. I support all rights for women such as equal pay and what not, It doesnt bother me.

That being said, I don't think men have the RIGHT to tell a female what to do, wear, etc...

Everyone thinks differently, and I think a society run only by men would be far worse than one with both genders involved.

We don't, or at least shouldn't, live in a patriarchal society any more. It's an outdated concept, which clearly has no place any more. So my answer would be no; while men may be physically more advanced in some ways, we should all realistically be considered equal.

In countries where women are given fewer rights than men, such as parts of the Middle East.. simply because their society allows them fewer rights does not mean that they have fewer rights as human beings.

 

As a whole, men are generally more physically able and emotionally stable compared to women. That's just how it is. Should there be discrimination and the "glass ceiling" - no.

 

I don't think anyone has any right to dictate anything anyone else should do unless it affects them personally, for example a guy telling his girlfriend not to see certain people =bad, a guy telling his girlfriend not to sleep with anyone = good although something's should already be agreed upon regardless of a spoken conversation. I think a men are smarter/stronger than women but that's not the average man that im referring to that's like the best man ever vs the best woman ever, people are just people we've decided what we choose to count as factors that differentiate us

 

It's dependent on nationality/culture, for example here in the United States years ago men we're more dominant in the working field and so forth, most women we're stay at home moms and etc. Time has passed since then and although it still exists it's not like it use to be. Many of the middle eastern countries believe that women do not have any superiority over men. Therefore like I stated in the beginning if you take it by nationality and culture the opinions vary.

My opinion is males are not superior to women as without the women man wouldn't exist and vice-versa so therefore they are equal beings.

 

Not necessarily, on average (at least here in the UK) - exam results are always better for girls than boys statistically

 

It's not really because we've been brought up this way, it's actually more as a natural instinct. back in the caveman era there was 1 alpha male that bred with all the females(in his pack/tribe), and it was his job to take care of them

this exact same thing can be seen in tribes of monkeys nowadays where the alpha monkey breeds will breed with all the females in it's pack.


Technically they can do everything males can do, it's just a natural instinct that we're brought up with the idea that males are dominant

 

This depends on culture and where you are from; in Saudi Arabia men are looked up to as being 'superior'. Saudi Arabia is however an extreme case; places such as Canada aren't sexist at all. I live in the UK and most widows and housewives are women; they also have the least paid jobs. Men are naturally built with more testosterone and potential to gain muscle; was it destined to be this way? I can't give you a definitive answer; it's a sensitive and hard subject to discuss.

 

Depends on what you mean by superior. Men are naturally stronger, Id say smarter as majority of the people who have made a difference are men, but as roary said females tend to score higher in the uk. For all I know we could be entering a new age where women ends up that much smarter than men.

Anyway, now that Ive stated the most said line in this thread, if you mean to tell your SO what to do and take no orders from them when it matters, Id be against it completely. I believe when 2 gets married they choose to share each other's lives, and I feel it's only fair that both have equal rights. Like a woman could get a job if she wanted, her husband cannot be the one deciding for her unless it's in his best interest for whatever reason. And being the breadwinner which is usually the make, doesn't and shouldn't give them the right to be the superior one.

Both genders have their roles where they are better than the other. A mother's love and care for their child is usually unmatched. The men physically does the harder job in the past, not to mention most jobs that require physical work are given to males. But that doesnt mean a make cant take care of a child or a woman cant do a job that requires you to be physically fit, it happens in a few cases.

 

Exams do not measure intelligence. They measure your ability to take exams.

 

Idk about superior but women basically own men in the west. lol have you seen how married men act around their wives or how they act when they call ?

Basically all laws are biased against men. Oh she cheated on you ? She still gets the house and alimony. Oh the child is not yours but you find out after it's born ? you still pay child support. lol women can lie and say you raped them or hit them and there's basically nothing you can do in those situations.

Btw if you cheat on your wife you're a terrible man. If your wife cheats on you you're still a terrible man; you should have paid more attention.

Btw 10%-15% of children are are being fathered by men who aren't their father(but who think they are). Look it up, basically all geneticists agree. Chances are that guy you think is your father may not be. That kid you think is your son may not be.

So, the real question is not who is superior but who does the system allow to behave as if they're superior. The answer is women.
