Vouches for Dicing

I haven't seen a thread on this yet if I have missed it just link me. Do you think that vouches for dicing should be allowed why or why not? Hoping to get a solid discussion going. My personal opinion is they should be allowed and here is why it does show trust you show trust that you're going to pay and not charge back or if the currency is RSGP that you're going to hold up your end of the bargain. I don't see how it is any different then selling gold or buying gold for that matter. On the flip side yes someone could just sit there and farm vouches but it's no different then just buying and selling gold vouches are obtained just as easily. As a side note maybe vouches should be allowed for example bets worth more then 15.00 dollars or so? What's everyone's take on it?

Well I understand that they're currently not allowed I'm simply asking what everyone's opinion on it is. That's why I placed it in community input.

 

Dicing vouches shouldn't be allowed, they take about a few minutes max. There's also the fact people can't just scam you and walk away with it the evidence is right in front of you if that were to happen. Personally, if dicing vouches were allowed I'd have like 200+ more vouches.

 

I do not support dicing on sythe, Also I dont see even one reason why should it be vouch able. It would just be fake vouch farming massacre.

Because it involves trust just like any other trade? Also how is it more of a "vouch farm" than the gold market where you could sell 1m 07gp to 100 different users.

 

Rofl, it involves way less trust then you think it does. No one can scam you because the proof is right in front of your face, and you don't dice someone with low rep, period. And, if you sell 1m 07 gp to 100 different users your vouches will be devalued and it would mean nothing. It's not a trade either it's a bet completely different topics.

 

Most people that scam large amounts aren't worried about their safety of their accounts at that point(basically cashing out). You're putting the same amount of trust in someone when you dice $200 as in someone that you're trading 500M rs3 gold. In this situation their rep is irrelevant.

The exact same goes for dicing, if you are just doing low bets to farm vouches your vouches will become meaningless. S

Does it really matter that its a "trade?" If I ask someone to help me redeem a $500 moneypak card and send it to my paypal is it any less deserving of a vouch? (because it isn't a "trade?")



I see what you're getting at with people vouching each other every time a dice is rolled, it might get out of hand(although that I disagree that no dice bet is worthy of a vouch). My suggestion might be a limit of one dicing vouch per person.

"Vouch for darkest dream, we did a series of bets totaling over $100, definitely a reputable guy" instead of 15 separate vouches for our entire dicing session.

In the same way where if you consistently trade gold with someone you wouldn't have them leave 15 separate vouches for you.
