[Competition] RS07 gaming ladder [Prizes]

RS07 Duelling ladder​

To all whom are reading this, this is a test run, to see how it all goes. It will be a tad unorganised for the first run, and I do apologise, but once we all get the hang of it, future competitions will be run a lot better, divided into three sectional divisions; beginner league, amateur league and professional league. I am also seeing how much interest is gained from the 07 community.

Hey all, I've decided to go ahead and host a small gaming ladder for RS07, this will be based at the duelling arena. For the first time, it will be based on one sectional area.

• Professional League

Professional League
High level accounts, combat level between 81-91 (With exceptions) If you feel you'd still like to enter the competition, and your combat level is lower, the by all means.
*The levels requirements are subject to change, based on the popularity of entrants.
*If enough interest is gained this time round, I will create three divisions as stated earlier, in which gives lower - higher level players the opportunity to partake.

To join this ladder, you must fit within the category as stated above. The games will be hosted at the duel arena, and the rules must be set as follows, unless otherwise agreed upon by both parties with no discrepancies.



As stated, these rules can differ if agreed upon by both users. If one person wants to range - that's fine.

Once I have enough players for the ladder, I will direct you all to the ladder, in which you will recognise your opponents, I then ask you contact them and figure out a time in which you are both able to compete. Being a duel with no armour/food or pots, it should take no longer than a couple of minutes.

You must show proof of you defeating your opponent, you must both post here with the outcome. If anyone attempts to scam, the competition will be cancelled.

Nice idea. If you get plenty of interest, I'd happily throw in a bit to the prize pot.

Too low combat to participate (plus my accounts are still works in progress) but will keep an eye on this!

 

Aw damn, that's what I'm afraid of at the moment, catering for all different levels. It's hard to determine what will be the most popular, I'll work it out and hopefully it gains interest.

Sorry, buddy. Unless we can work out something like - you not wear armour and the other competitor does, I'm afraid you cb level is just too high. Thanks for showing interest, though!

I'm just getting back into oldschool after a few months in europe, I should be around lvl 90 within a week or two. Ill check back when i get a higher cb and see how its all turning out.

Great idea and thanks for putting the time in.

P.S just an idea, as well as your 2.5mil prize money, everyone could say start with 250k duels and winner move on to the next round and then stake 500k and so on until its final two. If we could get 32 people(to make it simpler we would need 8/16/32 multiples of people) including your prize money the winner would walk away with 10.5m!! Im sure most people would be fine with that amount if not more. Risking 250k for 10.5mil pretty good ods, x40+ odds to only win 5 duel matches.

Just an idea whata' you think?

 

Thanks for the response, buddy. It is a bit hard, considering I don't know where the majority of Sythe users stand, with regards to their combat levels on their accounts. I think it's a good idea to get this rolling, it gets people more involved with the community, but I haven't had much positive feedback, yet.

I was thinking something along those lines, but I'd much rather have a big pot, because the 2 people at the end mightn't want to risk the 5m each they have, and instead, cut short and take the winnings while they're still ahead. It costs nothing to enter, and there is an incentive.
