What was the best year of RuneScape?

2010 was the fuckin shitttttttt.

 

2011 was amazing!!

 

2011-2012, pre-eoc. Was in Frozen Fury...lots of good laughs with clanmates and such. I guess that's what compelled me to keep playing at the time.

 

There should be a pool for that. I'd say 2011.

2010 and 2011 were my favorite years of runescape.

2012-2013 were the years runescape died for me. RIP <3 :'(

2011, in that time I can honestly say that even though the game was never the same as it was playing when I was only ten, and being a complete noob, 2011 was an enjoyable time.

We all can agree that those nights we would stay up all hours collecting flax trying to get our first pair of dragon platelegs will never be topped. I remember one specific instance that I actually had to stay up all night because I had a test on my brain the following day at the hospital the following day and the doctors requested I stay up 24 hours prior to the test.

My mom thought it would be an issue keeping me awake for this long of a period, but never-the-less I just played runescape for an entire 24 hour period collecting flax to make my first 2 mill. I don't think I'd ever been so pumped after that day. It will never be the same as these old days but for sure 2011 was the prime of runescape. Who knows though, if 2011 came back I might say I miss 2009 just as we all did with 2007

2006 and 2007 easily. Much more fun and simpler times. Once you have completed DT eight times it's not quite the same...

2007-2008 was mostly pvmish and as the game as a whole

personally 2009-2010 was my favorite due to pk worlds and bounty hunter.

 

07-08 with free trade or 2011

 

2011, free trade and wildy pking came back. No shitty armour/combat updates.
2013=worst year
