What happened to Fagex?

I'm out of the loop and more so curious about what happened to the communities. I remember being apart of fagex.net and pyronet long before fagex when classic was just released and botting came to be. This is the only account I could recover.

Anyways I noticed the site goes straight to the official Jagex webpage. It came up for a few months a few years ago but nothing since. Anyone able to update me on Fagex.net?

 

The only time Fagex was actually good was when it was owned by Juansito. After he sold it went down the drain; got into the hands of at least a dozen different owners within the next few years, many of them scammers.

 

I believe the domain was eventually seized by Jagex. Not 100% sure on how the rest of end of Fagex went down, I haven't been there sine like 2008 or some shit

 

I think someone hacked the domain and then lost a legal battle with Jagex forcing them to hand the domain over.

 

Was fagex some sort of website?

 

I remember 1337ex.net popping up, with Steve as one of the admins. Back then I looked at Fagex as a cesspool of crap with it's warez and gentlemans club, in comparison to Sythe's scammer haven (my opinion back then, which has obviously changed).

I did, but all i found was a twitter account and urban dictionary meaning lol

 

Fagex was another blackmarket, which died a while back now. MohtasaUnique I believe owned it at one point, or was high up in the staff ranking. I honestly can't remember it was so long ago.

 

Yes it was a popular one that was like Sythe or Powerbot.

 

Fagex.net and then right after *********.com and after FJ, was HRS, bugabuse and yet so many I can't recall.

 

Bugabuse is still up.

 

Is that the same Juansito that did or is currently running the autofighter website?
