How do you castrate a cat in yourself?

I tried the rubber band style but it seems that my cat will get hurt a lot. Is there a way to do it safely or should I just ask somebody else who knows how to castrate a cat or go to the veterinarian?

Please, PLEASE do not do this yourself, cats are not like sheep or cows that you can just tie a band around that area.

Go to a vet, they're cheap only around $50 and usually they have coupons which makes the price even lower, don't put this off either because it makes the cat live longer and he won't go walking for a mate which could lead him into a lot of trouble.

 

I really hope you're trolling on this one. If you're not, go to an animal shelter, and they'll do it cheaply and safely.

I do not care if I'm getting trolled here or not; but ouch dude, this just made my stomach twist. By all means, have an expert do it, you'll more than likely severy hurt the animal doing it yourself. As Loner pointed out: if money is an issue, a local animal shelter would be the cheaper option. Can confirm.

Chloecat does not approve, please go see a vet, if your worried about money or anything along those lines, an appointment would cost less than a new cat after you have fatally murdered your old one.

 

I'm not trolling, I heard people do it the traditional way.

 

It would be very painful for the cat, and it doesn't cost much to go to the Vet and have them do it PROFESSIONALLY.

 

How about, if you can successfully castrate yourself, then go ahead with your nearly acquired skills and do it to your cat.

Moral of the story:
Dont do anything horrific, pain-inflicting and life-threatrening that you wouldn't do to yourself/a fellow human, cats do not deserve to be tortured.
