Have a few questions about the release.

Is there going to be a fee to pay for this game? Maybe a virtual purchase?
And what do we know about the gameplay? I've seen that there are going to be a lot worlds to explore and races to play as but I don't know any specifics. I don't need wiki links, just looking for conversationesque answers.

The only fee will be the fee of membership per console you play on (as of now). As for classes and race, there has not been too much released on it aside from the following classes: Templar, dragon knight, nightblade and sorcerer.

I'm pretty excited for the game.

Its going to cost $15 a month you can play on either pc or next gen consoles. Not sure how its gunna work on x1 but on ps4 u don't need to pay the ps+ fee in order to play TESO only the $15 a month for the game. As for locations its ALL of tamerial. So skyrim morrowind and cyrodill daggerfall and all the rest that we not yet gotten to explore which i think is pretty sick.

EDIT:Seeing daggerfall in HD graphics is gunna be too sick lol.

Just wondering, where did you find the information regarding additional cost?

Gameinformer nor ign has mentioned anything of it.

15$ a month? It makes sense given the predicted caliber of the game, but fuck who has that money. I was craving getting to explore hammerfell and morrowind all over again too :p Hopefully they do a free trial promo.

    Also, I'm playing PC.

    That's pretty disappointing..

Console fee in addition to a fee for Bethesda. That is a lot of money though, more expensive than a call of duty elite membership.

Edit: last i knew they were doing applications for a beta, i don't know what ever happened with that.

$15 per month? Would rather wait for the new Everquest.

Ps4 users get an exclusive betta so if u plan on getting a ps4 there is ur chance to try it. As far as i know so far the servers are gunna be shared between x1 ps4 and pc. So u can play on console then play the same character later on pc.

If you pay a membership fee there's some sort of dedicated data per person. I would assume there will be a username & login per member allowing you to take your gameplay per console.

I saw an interview with one of the developers, he mentioned that the servers were going to be limited to each console? Cross console play would be cool, but unlikely.

I don't understand how nor why they would do that. I feel many people would have difficulties paying for such a high membership fee (on top of the console fee) and be limited to one console.

I'm not an expert, but crossing servers across consoles sounds extremely difficult, especially given the amount of strain going to be had with such an in-depth world and a huge population of members.
