Is there a way to be able to send money on paypal without having a credit card or bank account hooked up to it?

I have 20$ balance but i cannot send !

Help please!

 

Oh dear :/ I'm afraid usually not. From what I know, if you're registered to PayPal in the US, your PayPal must be verified before you are permitted to send money. Sorry to bear the bad news!

 

Yep, Superman's right; you'll have to become verified if you wish to send the money. Virtually all other online wallets and currency transfer systems do this as well (Skrill/Moneybookers comes to mind first)

 

if you set your account in like Austria you have a 2k sending limit without being verified.

 

Not possible. Unless he uses a VPN/Proxy; even then they will require proof that he is indeed in Austria/any other country.

 

I currently have 1 account based in Australia. with a 2k spending limit (not verfied) . While i indeed live in america. and no proxy was used.

As soon as you send receive funds on that Australian account, they will message you asking for a bank statement with ID proof. That's their normal procedure, unless somehow you've fallen through the cracks.

 

I've made quite a few purchases with this account.

 

This could cause problems for people who you buy still from, not many people want funds from an unverified paypal.

 

Do you mean sending it to a back account? Or gifting it to another paypal?

 

If you set it up with your legitimate name and date of birth, you should be alright, as you can just scan in the documents. If not, well you've lost $20.
