Why are we allowing this guy to be unbanned? I have nothing personal against him, and I doubt he will scam again, but he broke the most fundamental rules of this website. He scammed five people, then ban evaded. That's six permanent bans right there. Even though he scammed for a total of $30, and tried to repay those he scammed, that shouldn't justify his unban. For all we know, those three banned members he scammed are banned because he scammed them, so they decided to go scam someone else.

It's like this: You don't let someone whose robbed five banks out of prison before the end of their sentence just because he gave the money back, and in this case Muzza's sentence is permanent so it should stay perment regardless of if he gives the money back.

    Just my two cents though.

People have been unbanned before for the exact same thing, do you disagree with ALL those people being unbanned? I mean people like n4n0 have scammed, should we just go ahead and ban n4n0? I know AD personally and I trust him a lot, people change it was a long time ago.

I think the main reason they are going to vote on it is because he admitted to it. I put out a bounty on him which got him temp banned/twc for a self vouching thing, but no one was able to dig up the other stuff.

People do change yes, I don't doubt that he'll be unbanned at some point and continue his trading. but I think he should serve a longer ban.

Why didn't he admit to it earlier, before you set a bounty on him? He knew he was going to be caught eventually so he confessed to save face.

Potentially, yes. But the fact remains that I put out the bounty, had the whole spam forum trying to find dirt on him, and the best that HHN came up with was a minor self vouch. Which got a reduced ban length anyways because he showed verifiable proof that it was indeed an IRL friend.

So it MAY have caught up with him at some point, but honestly I think he would have been clean. As the guy who originally wanted him banned and forked over the bounty, I think its noble that he went ahead and admitted to it. Plus as already pointed out, there are current staff members who have been pardoned for scamming. People make mistakes, learn, etc.

Chloecat - n4n0 scamming is not the same as this.

From what I remember n4n0 himself was in hard financial times, and I believe he owned up to his mistake without being prompted. Also he only scammed ONCE.

Now this piece of shit scammed a total of $30 from five different people. He had to be prompted to come clean. By scamming 5 people for a total of $30 (average of $6) it shows what he is willing to sell out for and the repeated behavior is most disconcerting and shows a lack of morals.

Here's one of the people who was scammed by Muzza: http://www.sythe.org/members/278463-bioxidiz.html
Here's that person being banned for scamming a different member exactly the way Muzza scammed him/her: http://ww2.sythe.org/showthread.php?p=8392994

And here's another person who was scammed by Muzza:
    http://www.sythe.org/members/284766-chaosking.html
And here's (albeit not the best proof, however ChaosKing got banned and I cbf to find the actual report where it says he got scammed) a thread where a user claims to be scammed by this user:
    http://www.sythe.org/8143591-post6.html

While obvious Muzza can't really be held responsible at all for these users scamming, and for all we know they came to Sythe to scam people anyway, but a lot of users who've scammed claim that they scammed because they were angry about being scammed. Basically what I'm saying is that Muzza very well could be the reason two other members scammed. I like second chances however I don't personally feel this warrants one.

And then this person makes a pardon (should have been a ban dispute) http://www.sythe.org/request-pardon/1618922-made-those-noob-mistakes.html because he was banned for posting this video : http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KbcYAeqeZ8A

Basically we're letting someone who actually scammed five times get unbanned, yet someone who made a sketchy demonstrational video (after all, it's not like the video was "LOL WATCH ME HACK THIS GUYS FACEBOOK" it was, "How Facebook Passwords Are Hacked HD" which to me sounds whitehat) but hasn't done anything to harm users stays banned? Where is the justice in this situation? I agree the person who made the video is not exactly the type of member we'd want on this site but just give him a TwC and a usertitle stating to not download anything by the user or some shit.

Again, it's whatever, I don't run this site, I'm just trying to give a different perspective so maybe a mod won't blindly support something because the rest of them are.

This is why its called a high pardon. The dude fucked up and admitted it. He tried to pay back the people as best he could. Give him a break.
