Jagex RWT Bans

A few questions:

Did you use this account purely as a mule or did you play on it as well?

How old was the account?

Did you transfer GP to and from it often?

Sorry for your loss. I had some names reset last year - losing something you worked for sucks.

 

The dicks who will get you banned are either students, some company or die hard players with a Jagex mod in their friend list.

We've had multiple bans via our livechat, the 'customer' was trying to sell gold or buying a small amount of cash to let you verify your ingame name. When you've done this you'll be banned immediately (when a Jmod is online) or you'll have to wait until a Jmod comes online. They also try to let you help them. They're pointing out it will be helpful for you to give your competitors ingame names so they will get it banned to reduce competition.

Ip's of this type of customers are leading mostly to and provider called 'Ziggo', this provider is using a dynamic IP range which makes it difficult to link these customers. Also we've had an IP which was from a business who got us wiped (banned these days).

So all together it's hard to do something about it, they're even trying to expand their network by letting Sythe members help them, it's expected some has fallen for this offer. I suggest everybody uses an different mule for buying and selling. Make sure you've no cash on your buying account, also don't put too much on your selling account. At least make sure you don't have to much in stock, every $$$ you've put into RS gold is a very high risk stake.

Multiple account indeed. You can use for example a mule (<$50,- wealth) and stack (<$250,- wealth). Also play with the duration you use the accounts, 1 week trading, 1 week cooldown.

Make about 2 stacks and more mules. Be sure stacks never trading together. Mules only trade with same stack all the time. When a ban appears throw away all accounts who were in touch with the banned one.

I haven't been banned recently, but I was a few months ago, lost excess of 400M EoC and 10M 07.

With regards to your ban reason, that's a bit odd.. but doesn't surprise me in the slightest.

ASAPGANG and to the others banned please address things like if they were purely mule accounts or played on, the volume of gold moving through it-- often, how old the accounts were, if they had members etc

 

i was banned a few weeks back also, multiple mules, i believe they only ban in waves now, as it seems to be everyone gets banned at the same time, so to me it just makes sense to use mules for a few weeks then brace your self for a ban.

I now change mules every month. Saves hassle.
