Is it 'wrong' for a man to hit a woman?

If a woman is hitting, spitting on you then you should restrain her. Not hit her, over power her, get on top of her and pin her down and call for assistance. There is no true need for violence, walk away.. Run if you have too.

 

Boys like you are a disgrace to the male gender you have no right to call yourself a man until you grow up. The fact that you feel you have the right to hit anyone is disturbing and like I said above most situations LIKE this can be avoided if you just used common sense. Men that are disrespectful should expect girls to lash out I really don't see a random girl running up to you and beating the shit out of you for no reason.

 

Its also not right for a woman to hit a man and provoke him. If she provokes him and says the things she know will push his buttons like "hit me bitch" or "you sad ass dad" things like that I believe she deserves to be hit. Ladies are dirty like that they will say shit that they know is going to send you through the roof then when you slap the shit out of them there like "why did you hit me" well bitch for the last hour you been literally begging for me to hit you ..... "911 man goes to jail" 3 years no Bail end of story.

 

To provoke him? How about you remove yourself from the situation and be a man about it. Like I said just because you feel disrespected doesn't give you the right to hurt anyone. You act violent you deserve the 3 years in jail, end of story.

 

No, it is not wrong, provided the woman initiated violence and the response is on an equal footing.

Sure, it's wrong for a guy to just randomly hit a woman, same as it is wrong to just randomly lash out at anyone. But if you are being provoked and there is no realistic alternative you have every right to respond in kind no matter who they are.

I clearly said respond in kind. I never said you have the right to hit someone if they are calling you names. However if a girl is physically assaulting you, that is very different.

If its truly justified I wouldn't think twice. I think the whole idea that it should NEVER happen is insane.

I believe its wrong to just hit a woman, a man should never hit a woman, but I feel like if a girl would be constantly hitting a man and theres nothing to do but defend yourself, then I believe its different.

Women express how much they want to be treated equally and such, well I'm giving them that opportunity to be treated equally.

Edit: I should also add I've taken my fair amount of swings at some females. I've never connected but I've swung in the same manner I've swung at guys before.

 

Depending on the situation, I believe women are normally more fragile than men.

But ive heard a lot of bs stories, not much we can do, our opinion doesnt matter. I remember this guy would constantly get beat up by his girlfriend, simply because he didnt fight back. He would end up with bruises and stuff like that, nothing serious enough to send him to the hospital. He snapped one time, and he held her arms so she cannot hit him again. There was a mark on her hand. Court ruled in her favor, even after the guy's friend testified that he would always end up with bruises and let her hit him, and all he did that time was grab her arms in self defense. Didnt matter.

It disgusts me how some women takes advantage of this. Some wants equality, but not the whole package, just the things that could benefit them. They're a mystery no male will ever understand.

 

All violence is bad, self defence can also only be claimed within reason, i mean a large husky women can't shoot a 13 year old male and say it was self defence because women aren't as strong as men.... That's why self defense in itself has to be kept within reason. Therefore if a women is acting violently towards a man, a reasonable amount of force should be used in order to for the male to defend himself, not oh she slaps him so he knocks her out, unless maybe she had a weapon or something like that then again 'reasonable' is the key determinant here.

Women want to be treated equally, but don't want the bad sides such as taking a good ol' ass kicking when they're pushing your buttons. They should get it for doing wrong, such as men do; they want to be treated equally. Treat them equally guys.
