Current Ban Rates

Currently, especially in 07; ban rates are extremely high due to bot busting moderation. These bans typically last only 48 hours, BUT put a very heavy strike on your ban meter. Meaning its a one time warning. For anyone botting, I highly suggest you follow these simple suggestions.

If you're botting in a highly populated botting area;
1 - Do not leave your keyboard
2 - Wear expensive or "from-the-norm" armor
3 - Always be aware of what is happening on your screen
4 - If you SEE a J MOD, stop your bot

All other types of botting;
Just perform the usual breaking
Try to stay in banks
Do not transfer wealth until you're ready to rid the account


If anyone has anything to add feel free to make suggestions.

I don't follow any of these and I've never had any problems, just use the right bots. *shrug*

 

Almost no one follows the suggestions you have said, although they are nice, they are a bit extreme and some are just random/make no sense.

The main point of botting is being able to leave your computer and do other things.
Bans don't really happy based on what your character is wearing. Often times there is/are a few known best setups for certain tasks so everyone wears that gear.
Staying in banks really limits what skills you can train or methods you can use.
etc. etc. etc.

Overall, just limit your botting time to believable hours, switch up skills/locations periodically, and monitor any new bots/scripts for a while to make sure they perform well.

This was in regards to the bot busting moderation currently cutting down bots like blades of grass. Not suicide botting. Appreciate your post though.

If you're suiciding/gold farming its a different story. I understand that when you're botting, the point is to get away from the computer. But right now, in highly populated areas j mods are EXTREMELY active with bot busting. You can get this ban in a matter of minutes, just by being unaware. So people who are botting their mains or a significant account are suggested to take these precautions and be aware of the dangers. I bot 1 account, the same account I've had for years. Sounds stupid not to be gold farming but I just don't have the time or patience to do the monotonous tedious tasks to get the skills/gp I want to actually play the game with. And I think there are MANY in the botting community just like myself. If you're like myself and want to avoid a ban, you're basically just going to have to babysit.

 

If I was going to sit in front of my computer while I bot I'd just play legit. I use rid bots and not once ever was I given a ban.

 

these are good rules but they cannot work for massive gold farmers, i think botting will be over in a year.

Uses osbot to 84attack 97strength (no ban) and 93range 86defence(no ban)

I did receive a 14 day ban back in like May when fight caves bots got nerfed (manual ban from jmod)

I've botted around 2000 hours with RiD without ever receiving any issue / strike against my accounts, once.

 

Oh just ignore him, he has a massive drive to try and start fights over stupid things. I never even mentioned any specific bot site and he still tried to start a fight about it. Just ignore the immature trolls and their influence will plummet.

 

Thats probably because he uses RiD which is historically the most undetectable bot... He didn't even mention it by name, hate more?

 

Too damn high for anyone to be botting anymore probably 80% ban rate.

 

I've botted 14 hours straight in 2 days. not a ban yet.

 

As I said above this is not about suspicious behavior while botting. It's about the bot busting modertation in the highly populated botting areas. Areas like rock crabs, flesh crawlers, flax, yews etc... They may not get you today, this week, this month. But when they focus in on your area of choice the likelihood of them getting you is pretty significant.

 

my buddy got permed without getting a 2-21 day ban, just permed on first ban.. Guess changed changed now. Nigga was botting prayer and woop gf, he over did it though..

 

ban rate is crazy.. i had both fishers and hunters perm banned.. also my main pures got a bot bust doing cb ring training.. in my own house so no1 to report + no jmods.. idk how they do it
