The PS4 will officially cost $399, which is $100 cheaper than Microsoft's Xbox One. I pretty sure the hardware is nearly identical in both, but Microsoft charges $100 more, for god knows what reason. Anyways, better start saving up!

Luckily I use a PC. It must suck having to always purchase the newest system if you want to be up to date and play recent games.

my pc is my media center.

i want to play a game, turn on the pc.

watch a movie? turn on the pc.

listen to some music? turn on the pc

pc has better deals, better lifetime for parts, i've been through 4 360s since they were released, only been through 1 pc since then, and that was because i just wanted to upgrade all my stuff.
pc has controller support for those numb fingerlings.
pc has better gfx, frames, gameplay.. its just better m8.

It is only dominate in the US. You don't think the PS4 being $100 cheaper is going to give it a bump in sales? Back up what you say or don't bother saying it.

The only outrage is the price of the console (which is due to the kinect being bundled into the packed in). Sure i don't agree with the price but i also have different perspectives on it while make it a bit more understanding. Lets not forget that the current consoles sold come with and without it, you can ensure they will do the same.

Comparing the two systems, they're essentially the exact same with different prices. Although the majority of differences promised are features we as consumers can not yet examine, we do have history.

Sony/Playstation has always been preferred by single player, non competitive, campaign gamers. Why? They have evidence which proves their excel in graphics and game mechanics.

Microsoft/Xbox has always been preferred by competitive, multiplayer, agressive gamers. Unlike Sony, Microsoft has near perfected the ultimate player vs player experience for console gamers. With networking and compatibility on their side, Microsoft has the key fundamentals to make this experience the most enjoyable while competing online.

Sony has lacked the technology and research to make the same experience either better nor similar.

For those of you who are console, player vs player, competitive gamers stuck with an undecided ultimatum, perhaps i can make an impact on your decision.

People who are big into the call of duty series, who purchased mw2 either on the release date or the first beginning months can remember the javelin glitch. With this glitch you could equip a javelin and run after people giving ultimate damage against the enemy (without locking on). Some enjoyed this and for others it was quite frustrating. Although this was a big glitch, along with many other glitches games like this encounter, Microsoft was the first to fix this particular one and every other glitch after. Behind Microsoft was Sony, fixing and updating the glitch nearly 3 months after Microsoft.

Call of duty is not the only example of Microsoft getting things done sooner than Sony, every glitch to ever hit multiplayer has always been solved on Microsoft systems first.

Do you really want to wait to play your game but can't due a glitch or play it right away because Microsoft gets things done quicker?

There is a reason mlg tournaments are done with Xbox and not Playstation.

jw, how did you go through 4 360's? i've only had one -.-

 

Red ring of death on 2, and the disc trays have all broke on them, never even touch the trays with my hands always used the remote.


but i will give them one they, there return policy is pretty good, cus they know there shit breaks easily.

 

PS4 will sell better to people who actually earn there own money, xbox will be bought by little kids parents cos its ecbawkz
