Knuckle Tattoos

How frowned upon are they? I know that most places don't like neck/face tattoo's, which I won't be getting face ever. Neck I'll wait on until I have a good career. Is it impossible to get a job with knuckle tattoos now a days?

 

Depends on your job market. if you need to look professional then dont get them. You cant hide them.

 

I'm largely in customer service, and up front. I'm thinking that's why it's probably not a good idea at all to get them. Thinking I might just stick with finishing my arm.

 

Yes that is a good idea. there are only a few jobs that would be ok with hand tattoos. a short few.

 

Arm is better because it's obviously easy enough to cover with a long sleeve shirt and just roll it up. Unless you're wearing gloves, knuckle tattoos aren't coverable.

Workplaces are way more relaxed about tattoos now (finally). My school teacher had tattoos on her hands.

why woul you even get tattoo's like this

the only reason to get a tattoo is for it to have a meaning .

Nice stating a thought as fact. This is a serious thread for someone with a question. Just because you think they are ugly doesn't mean everyone does. He just stated he would get know and hope which obviously have meaning to him.

 

Roary had lots of experience seeing those hand because he would often go into the class room during lunch, drop his kilt and get a hand job from the teacher.

Yeah - Most of my tattoo's don't have meaning, but the knuckles one will, when I do get them eventually.

personally i would get a tattoo at the back of my shoulder . but thats just my oppinion.

I have many tattoos planned, just don't know the order to get them in. I'm thinking about finishing my sleeve, then chest, then knuckles. Or chest, sleeve, knuckles... no idea yet.

 

get a real job, and not some sissy desk job, and you are fine.

 

I wouldn't get a tattoo anyway, but definitely not on my knuckles if I were thinking about it.
