Need technical help (2007)

I am currently operating a Macbook Pro 2.5GHz laptop. When I open oldschool runescape from runescape.com, it appears that the "box" where everything on runescape happens, is highlighted by a white line that goes around the square box. In game, if I try to use my arrows keys to adjust the view, the camera just starts going in circles and won't stop even if I press the opposite arrow key.

The only way to stop it from going in circles is to click another tab on my web browser so I can get off of the runescape tab. I don't know why this keeps happening and all help would be appreciated! It happens on both safari and firefox, Swifkit just stays as a black box when I try to load it so that appears out of the question.

My java is currently up to date, no updates are needed on my computer either. I have cleared my Jagex cache and it did nothing.

 

I too use a Mac to go on RS. For me, Chrome doesn't work (doesnt support java plug ins or some thing like that) and Firefox does the spinning thing also. Safari however should work, have you updated your Safari to the latest version?

This doesn't 100% match the issue that you're describing, but their solutions are pretty average troubleshooting that might help solve your issue.

I presume you are using firefox. From personal experience, firefox doesn't work well with java applications, what I recommend is to download the client and edit the info.plist file and replace the runescape 3 link with the runescape 07 link, the guide can be found within the forums with a simple google search. This will rid your problems.
