Looking for Pre-Built Desktop to run WoW on ultra/high

Hey guys, I am looking for a pre-built desktop PC, I am looking for a brand new system so yes, tower, monitor, keyboard etc.

I was thinking earlier of making my own but now I'd like a pre-built model, even if it doesn't look as cool or isn't as powerful.

What I NEED it to be able to do:

Play WoW on Ultra or High settings.
Play Runescape 3 on Highest Settings (should not be too taxing, my archaic laptop can almost do it).

Even medium settings of WoW would be good, all of my computers can barely run it on the LOWEST settings. And I don't really want to upgrade the graphics card, I need a whole new system, it's time for an upgrade, it's been too long.

Budget- 500-1000. Just find whatever, I will consider prices later. I do not think it should be so hard to find a good WoW computer. Thx guys

I would build my own..but idk how. If pre-built is impossible with what I want, let me know.

    Ok thanks man.

If you guys think building it is better, give me a build. Is there a place I can order the parts but they build it for me?

Give me specs that would blow world of warcraft out of the water, I'm okay paying top dollar for a powerful machine.

Are tiki computers good ?http://www.falcon-nw.com/desktops/tiki That price is steep as hell so yeah I'm guessing it would -.-

All prebuilts are going to be way overpriced for what you're getting. If you aren't going to build it yourself though I suggest Digital Storm

    Link: http://www.digitalstormonline.com/comploadc70.asp?id=676721&price=%24799

Its generally a better deal than alienware and you can pick out all your components. You can look up benchmarks online for the specific video card to see how it does on certain games.

For example you can type in "AMD Radeon HD 7750 1GB Bf3 benchmark" and see how it does on battlefield 3 fps wise.

If you want something totally custom built though (usually better quality components for the same price/better looking etc) you can contact me about it, I'd be willing to put something together for you. With your budget I could easily build something that would destroy WoW graphics wise. Also if you find a shop locally who can do it(will add quite a bit to your build) I'd be happy to write up a build for you for free over skype =]

edit: Don't listen to the first 10 people that will tell you to look up razer or alienware, that's generally not the best way to go.

second edit: Don't buy a tiki computer, GROSSLY overpriced. Disgustingly overpriced even...

Wow, you're awesome!! That would be so nice of you Darkest, I could really use the help. If you can put together something that you feel would run WoW effortlessly (and take into account any future content or expansions that could make the requirements rise), I'd REALLY appreciate it. Basically the only condition I have is that I want it to knock World of Warcraft out of the park on Ultra settings with a good FPS.

The only one I benchmarked was this card, http://www.tomshardware.com/reviews/geforce-gtx-650-ti-benchmark-gk106,3318-12.html

I don't know fi that's good or bad, all I know is my computers now are complete shit and can only run WoW at like 15 FPS on lowest settings.

I'm willing to up my budget past 1,000 dollars, if you feel it is ultimately worth it and will last me a good long time. I don't foresee wanting to play a game more powerful than WoW (which I'm told isn't very taxing ))

Here are specs from the site..but IDK what they are for Ultra. IDK what recommended settings will get you

No problem at all, do you have a skype or something? Also if you could do me a favor and figure out who you're going to have build it for you (research locally or find someone online like me) and then let me know once you've done that. After you for sure have a resource to do that I'd be happy spending the time to put something together for you! I spent two hours helping some guy earlier who decided building was too much work and bought something at best buy haha

Especially if you're going custom built you can definitely get something that will handle WoW on maxed out settings / will be future proof for quite a while.

edit: That card that you linked me to is around what you are looking for.. basically you're looking for a videocard that can get AT LEAST 60 fps on ultra settings (meaning that it'll display as fast as your monitor can refresh). Just keep in mind with prebuilts even if you find something with that specific cardyou'll be getting a crappier motherboard, power supply, ram, case, fans, and essentially everything else for the same price as something custom!

second edit: Yeah, the sites specs are essentially meaningless, you want specs well above the recommended ones to run everything on ultra =p

Ah yeah, I wouldn't want to waste your time dude! I am ONE HUNDRED percent committed to buying a new machine. As I stated IN OP, it is long overdue. Do you recommend any sites that I should have make the machine? Extra fees for them making it does not bother me, I just have no experience on the matter.

Well, there are plenty of websites that will build custom computers for you but you pick the parts directly off their part lists and you can almost always expect a 40-60% markup on EACH component. So if you don't mind spending the extra money for the convenience I'll happily point you towards a site like that.

It might be a little cheaper to have someone build it locally(a shop or craigslist or something) but then again you don't get a real full system warranty including repairs etc/its less convenient to set that up. Just from what you've posted so far it seems like a custom built computer from a website might just be the way to go.

Give me 15-20 minutes and I'll PM you a couple options.

Anyone who says you should buy an Alienware, has absolutely no knowledge of what they're talking about. The systems used to be good before they were acquired by Dell. Now, they're grossly overpriced pieces of SHIT.

From someone who had an alienware and has built my on systems. Never go with a prebuilt system. When you buy an overpriced alienware you are only paying for the logo. If you build it your self or go through someone to do it for you, you get a way bigger bang for your buck. You also get to customize with the case and fans etc.. Never go prebuilt oh and it shouldn't cost much more then $500-$600 for a wow computer. but if you want something that will last for longer then $700-850 is your price

This basically sums it up. I had a pre-dell alienware. I've dealt with post-dell alienwares, I had a Falcon Northwest, I've built a half dozen systems myself, and I can say that custom building is the way to go. You get a better system for a lot cheaper than you would EVER find pre-built.

Yeah iv only dealt with post dell alienware and its complete over priced shit. My m18x even shipped with fucked up ram and graphics card. Took two weeks for them to send a tech with the parts to fix it. He was just a year or two older then me and didn't really give a shit about my computer he was pretty rough with it. There techs go through a short very dumb training class to be dell techs. From the IT's mouth.

If you don't want to build your own computer, would you consider buying a pre-built and upgrading a part or two?
