I used both my votes for PvP worlds, although from the look of the results GWD is an inevitability at this point.

 

Why the stuff are they putting god wars in. pfft

 

Jagex never ceases to amaze me how bad their business tactics are... It's like a model for corporate suicide.

 

But on the plus side, cash will come flooding into the game from GWD and prices should, in theory, drop. But that's a case of wait and see.

 

Cash doesn't come from GWD. GWD doesn't produce or remove Gp from the game, things like alching and construction add/remove gp.

 

Mass camping of aviansies = mass cash coming into the game. That's just the first example that comes to mind.

 

I mean if it ups the number of people playing who cares if they add god wars?
Honestly Im a skiller and almost never pvm but i dont see the big deal, gwd came in 07? and just because that was the only file they could pull up was from 07 doesnt mean they didnt just wanna erase theyre bad combat update

Yeah but incredibly valuable items do and a vast amount of them at that are going to be dropped and thus injected straight into the economy.

The items themselves are valuable but they aren't coins, and they can't be alched for large amounts of coins. Thus, no money is injected into the economy

Those bars are made into bolts, still no coins created

 

Personally, I alched them or made them into alchable items, and I know a lot of people who did the same pre-eoc (don't know if EOC changed that at all, prices or what-not). Players alching aviansie drops alone brought a massive, massive amount of coins into the game when I used to play. And given that they have, so far, suggested no significant changes.. well, I can only assume it'll be a similar story.
