Paypal Help

The problem I am currently having is my account being limited with £150 stuck in there - I didn't use my real name on the account, as I used it for sales and as soon as i got money into the account i sent it off to my main personal account. Now, i need a way to get the money out of the account, but i cant link a card as the name on it would be different. Any advice i would really appreciate it, do you think it is worth emailing paypal explaining i do not own a bank account or something?, and if they could allow me to send the funds to my moms account etc?

 

Nope you're screwed tbh. This happened to be a while ago. I had a fake account with a fake name but thankfully i only had $20 in it. Take the loss and learn from the experience.

 

fuck is there anyway i can sell the account to somebody with the surname white? lol - so that they can add their card and withdraw the money

They need matching first and last names. You're pretty much screwed unless you can setup one of those disposable debit cards you can buy from the shop (if they still accept them). Always use your real name as they can ask for photo ID at some point, and that's when you can end up losing cash.

 

They would only need matching last name, i have tried it my self, the last name is white if anybody wants to help me out? lol

 

I'm assuming your account is suspended? Generally the wait is 6 months once a suspension has been handed out before you can withdraw funds to your bank account. However, I'm not 100% sure if you'll be able to send those funds to your main paypal account.

Also, if you've used the same phone number on your main account, you will more than likely be suspended on that account also.

 

Nope nothing that you can do unless you call and you can verify address, social everything has to match in order for them to change something like that. Meaning very hard information that they might need. That means giving them social,recent addresses, prior phone numbers, parents maiden names ect. Loads of information and they still might not be able to change it usually you have to wait about 45 days or something like that but I do not use it so I do not know if the security things have change since last ive used.
