60 attack or 70 attack as a zerker?

Hello, me and my friend are both 60 attack zerker pures and we're debating wheter to stay 60 attack or get 70+ for a whip.

The pros are:
+ Abyssal whip
+ More accuracy
+ Higher hits with primary weapon

The cons are:
- Higher combat level
- Fighting mains with piety

The combat level is a big difference, if we were to max with 60 attack we would be 94 combat, if we max out with 99 attack (which will eventually happen) we will be combat 106. Is there anybody who has experience with this or anyone who got some advice for us? Thanks in advance.

 

If you are actively PKing, stick with 60 unless you're going to be PKing with a whip to take full advantage of it.

If not, and you're a fan of PvM, definitely go for 70. Whip helps a lot with slayer and things like that, and it is also closer to 75 for the inevitable release of GWD and GS.

 

100% no doubt in my mind, 70 attack. The whip absolutely destroys over a d scim, the accuracy truly helps a lot. With a d scim, you might get lucky, but most of the time; against higher levels, you won't be able to hit squat.

60 attack, you won't stay 70 attack because you have to use accurate on the whip.

 

Fighting other zerks with 99 str and a whip with a maxed 60 attack zerk is just as bad as fighting mains with piety.

I would say there is a time to get 70 attack, I wouldn't just get it right away, I would say the right time to get 70 attack is when you hit 80/85/90 strength. All depending on preference. I got 70 attack at 85 strength and I felt that was the right time to do so. I'm more of a dds staker than a pker so when I'm staking someone the same combat as me which is 86 someone with 60 attack normally has about 90 strength which really only hits 1 damage higher with dds. If the duel ends before you can get your whip out which is about 30% of the time then you definitely will be on the losing end. With the 70% chance you will get your whip out theres a much greater chance that you're going to win. So in my opinion once you hit 80/85 strength it's time to get 70 attack.

 

70atk, because it just owns much better

 

70 attack is horrible unless you're 99 str already. before you know it you're 78 90 45 and just getting slapped around.

 

60 is always been better for me

 

I would say whip if you do a lot of Slayer or PVM. However if you're a wildy fanatic then stick with 60... I personally believe it's a lot more effective PK'ing.

 

get 70 attk you can wreck with a whip.

 

id go for 70 attack you will be more successful because you will land better comos

 

just get 99 attack 99 str 70 def and piety, main dharoking ftw
