    My feedback:

The blue text is very blinding, especially with the dark Sythe background. Make it lighter! (sky blue or something) :D

Second, although it is common sense, you may want to include that the more expensive the account the more likely you will be scammed.
Scammers can make a lot more money by recovering a high priced account and then trying to resell it at a later time or on a different website than they can scamming a cheap account (cheap accounts result in bans with little return and more work over time to profit).

Basically, the more you spend, the more cautious you should be.

You could also include a link to Sythe's IP search http://www.sythe.org/userlookup.php If you're buying an account from someone who has a match to another user, it might raise a red flag. Googling Sythe.org or PB (site:sythe.org) for a Skype or just googling in general for a Skype can also reveal old scam reports or evidence of malicious intentions.

I really agree with everything else, though. I've always thought it's most important to get to know the seller of the account as much as possible - have a conversation (a long one) and if they say something suspicious or contradictory to something they said earlier (in regards to the account) don't buy from them. If they have questionable morals (laugh/brag about doing something to harm another person, etc) it might be a sign that they aren't trustworthy.

there's no point using a middleman if you don't trust the person enough to go first in a trade, defeats the whole purpose as the buyer of an account has to trust the seller for the accounts lifetime, not a few minutes.

In my opinion, you've hit the nail on the head as far as never buying accounts. My suggestion to anyone considering buying an account is, instead, to create a new level 3 and hire someone to skill/quest it if they are desperate to have something specific.

That's right. I mean; there are A LOT of trusted and reputable members in which wouldn't recover the account, but it's always best to build your own. After I was scammed I created m own account and got it trained, I'm nearly a maxed out zerker now, and best if yet, I don't have to worry about the account being recovered!

Yeah, to be honest I'm kinda annoyed with myself that ages and ages ago I bought a $10 account off Player Auctions, 70 range, 30 hp and nothing else.. I was planning to use it just as a rusher for a few weeks so didn't care if it got recovered..

Now I've stupidly invested quite a lot of time and money in it, and put a bit too much into it to abandon it. Just got to hope the seller is a decent person and didn't sell it just to recover some time later.

I don't believe that's true i've sold 10+ accounts before eoc including an account with over 2.3k total and I can honestly say I'd never recover them but for me personally I would never buy an account because atleast 90% of the time it will be recovered down the track and im not going to put my time and effort into training someone else's account.

Thats why i always use playerauctions unless its from someone very trusted. but if the trade is ever over $100 i always use playerauctions. I paid $200 for an account back in the day and the dude recovered it. But i paid the $6 for the 1 year warrenty with playerauctions and they refunded my $200. also they got his account banned in runescape. boom always use playerauctions add that to the guide

Oh say PlayerAuctions has a warranty period? I didn't even know about that, can you care to elaborate and I'll copy+paste straight into the guide, if you don't mind!

    Thanks for the info, dude.

When you buy an account on playerauctions they offer you a choice to purchase a warranty on the money you spend. It's good for 1 year and then before it runs out you can opt to pay the $6 and it is good for another full year. If at any said time does the account get recovered and you provide them with the same evidence that is needed here for a scam report they refund your money in full. They also use all the info given to them about the account to get it banned. They also try to collect damages from the said account seller/scammer.

oh and it works the same with chargebacks. When you buy something you send the money to them and then they make their own payment the the seller. So if someone charges back they do so against playerauctions and not the seller
