New Ranks

I thought it would be a good idea to suggest that the current ranks we have are sent to the legacy vault, such as the older ranks. In my opinion, it would be refreshing having something new to look at, especially now that there's a lot more popular items to choose from. The only really outdated rank we have right now is the $50 donor rank, which features the dragon claw.

Naw the ones we have right now are really good and people that are 300+ donors or whatever get to make there own ranks they look good. All the ranks are nice no need for change. No supp. from me.

 

Personally think they're alright they way they are! No support from me.

 

It would be a cool idea I guess but its probably not going to happen. There is nothing wrong with the current ones even if the item is "outdated". No support.

Support from me, tbh they should make it so you can select. Not make your own but select from 3.

I have refrained from donating $25 just because of the bad rank image.

 

In fact, in my opinion donations shouldn't be made towards sythe.org to practically 'purchase' the rank, but it should be a form of thanking instead. Now, if you want to donate, you can donate $25 and hide your rank. I'm a $200+ donor but I could have it say $5 donor $25, $50, $100 donor or even nothing at all. You not liking the rank should not stop you from donating, imho.

If outdated images don't matter, than why can't we access the old legacy ranks? Why were they changed in the first place?

Legacy ranks were changed quite some time ago, when new ranks were introduced and ever since only members who donated PRIOR to the introduction of the new ranks, are allowed to use the Legacy ranks [as far as I'm aware].

About the insane amount of possibilities, whilst I agree with you, I feel there is no need right now to introduce new ranks to sythe again. In fact, it would be a lot of work for quite a few people, which in my opinion [at this stage] would be unnecessary.

 

Support, I guess it could be interesting to see some new ranks.

 

Very nice idea. Runescape has changed alot over the past few years. Current donor rank images aren't up to date.

 

All forums should continue to update ranks and introduce more ranks if they want to grow and there are a lot sections in Sythe that could have a special rank for them. I'll support this one.

 

Support, why even make them rs orientated imo.

 

Changing the look of donator ranks would be nice they are quite out of date, hell it might even encourage people to donate more.

 

The donator ranks were updated not too long ago.

Also, a rank competition was held on Sythe recently.
One of the winning ranks is the "Legendary" one I'm wearing.

I'm not completely opposed to a "competition" being held again, but I feel it should only be hosted to commemorate the most recent competition.

Since your thread only pertains to donator ranks, I do not support.

 

I think the op ment donor ranks only. not the fun ranks.

 

No need to update the Donor ranks as they were updated recently and if you don't like your donor rank you can donate $300 and get a custom. I don't think all the ranks should be RS related but it is what it is.

Now not a chance in my mind for new fun ranks. We just had a competition about a year ago for adding some.

 

With Sythe's expanding market I don't see why we should still be focusing our donator ranks on Runescape. Nowadays we are seeing more and more games being marketed. perhaps its time we moved to a more general donator rank.

I threw the comment in regarding fun ranks to not only verify updates to the website, but also what I feel what is more likely to be supported by the community and Staff.

 

Support as long as they aren't rs based anymore. It would be nice if we could move on from rs.
