What should I include in my birthday list?

Honestly? Nothing should be on the list. Your family should also know what you want. A present isn't about the material nature, it is about receiving a gift.

 

Well as I've already said that's how things work in our family, all the children/young adults get to write a list of things that they want. Maybe that's not how you do things but its how our family does it.

edit: Consider the amount of sites that allow you to create a wishlist, take newegg or steam for example. They're designed to make it easier on people lol.

 

Why not break the mould? Opening presents on your birthday and knowing what your going to receive must be a bit shitty. When I was younger I always looked forward to my birthday for not knowing what I would get.

But if you must write a list, I would suggest any of the following:
A road-bike.
Weekend away
Some DVDs (always nice to have them for real instead of on a hard-drive)
Concert tickets.

Its not as if they exclusively shop from the list...I usually only get a few items from it but it gives them a general idea of the kind of stuff I'm into. Thank you, all I'm really looking for is suggestions
