You're saying you couldn't pick me out of a crowd, so that means you don't see me a lot. But you're also saying I post a lot, help with CDT and I handle a lot of reports...

 

anything out of non community related topics you a ghost.

All 4 infractions (since last october) have been well warranted and I caught them all by just regular browsing. If you think infractions are a witch hunt from me your sorely mistaken.

 

Govind just banned a ban evader, nice. Don't see him there ever.

Lol FireZ I like you but I think you did a witch hunt on me. (lol) I have never received an infraction from you until directly after insulting you on the "Insult the person above you" thread. Also the fact that you said, "2 point infraction. Enjoy it." makes you come off as if you are trying to elicit a negative response or that you are mad. Just wanted to say this You are a great admin IMO still :')

i think you missed what i was trying to say... What i was trying to communicate was that ive seen more admin involvement in this thread then anywhere else on sythe. Yes i understand you guys do plenty behind the scenes shit. You make this site run every day and im thankful for that. However besides firez and n4n0 we never see any of the other admins participate in any threads anywhere on sythe.... EVER.... Just because your doing behind the scene work doesnt mean you have to completely desert the forum you help build. All were saying is it wouldnt hurt to drop a message every now and then to let us know your alive and kicking

 

Aye, I have been inactive (post-wise, at least) for some time now. I'm here for emergencies mainly and have been collaborating with Govind and N4N0 for some time on how we can ensure moderating activity is monitored effectively. I also keep up to speed on the latest goings on through others via Skype. Staff members know to contact me through Facebook or via phone if there is a major problem.

I now have a full-time job and my career is dedicated to building and maintaining online communities. Through developing my skills in my job, I feel that I do have a lot of knowledge to contribute to Sythe still.

I appreciate many people are concerned about my lack of activity, and rightly so. However, I'd like to take this time to say I am still here and I do still care about the site.

 

I infracted you before I posted in that thread (or at least before I saw your response). You were infracted for wasting our time with a link to a random member. Obviously that was well below the requirements of a scam report and was dealt with as a waste of time and spamming.

 

I would argue that it was not a random member and that you should have at least looked at the member and you would have known to ban him from the red flags. No point in arguing that though because I really should have asked for an IP check or pointed out for you that all his posts were the same or something along those lines. I agree, my report was well below the requirements but I still do not believe it was worth a 2 point infraction. Thanks again :')

 

Seems that most of the Staff are particularly obsessed with people not recognizing their work "behind the scenes" on Sythe. You don't have to go head to head with people and point out what you do just to please someone because people will complain regardless.

Also if you want feedback, learn how to take negative feedback. I understand there's a point where you need to defend yourself if you're being accused for the wrong thing, but just keep that in mind.

Thirdly, if you're going to have an excuse for not being active, don't make the excuse of "staff are not paid and can only help out on their free time." If you can't handle the job, step down.

This feedback isn't just from overnight, but rather a collection of the last couple months. There's plenty more but I could care less about listing them as I know this post will probably be irrelevant.

 

The part I agree with as to what HHN stated, if a moderator simply does not have time, there is no excuse, they are nt obligated to do the work required they can simply step down. I think it's only fair to allow for new members of the community to become a staff member and actively help the community.

 

From what I've seen recently is that there are many moderators who are inactive. What's the point of having all these mods if some of them are barley active? Just my two sense. Don't get me wrong some of staff are extremely active.

edit: Also I completely Agree with HahaNerd. The feedback system is meant for people to know what they're doing right and wrong. I think we've drifted away from it's purpose.

Roary - By far the best global, should be Admin IMO.
RsProd - Haven't seen too much of you lately, but you're usually doing work.
Superman - very consistent.

FireZ - The best admin, with the worst attitude.

n4n0 - Again like FireZ seems like the powers gone to your head. Good admin, but you can come off like a dick sometimes.
Sythe - The man.
Verts - I didn't even know you existed.

Disclaimer: This is just what I've noticed recently, If i didn't comment its not a bad thing, i just dont know what to say about you.

 

You seem to have your head screwed on tighter than most, HHN. I'm very interested to hear more from you via PM, especially given that you've been keeping an eye on feedback for a longer period of time.

Whatever feedback you have about individual staff members, or even about myself or the other administrators would be fantastic. The more detail, the better.

This is open to others as well. I do read private messages on a regular basis so if you have complaints or feedback that you would rather be kept private, please PM me.
