Setting up a paypal account

If you Australian you may help!, I want to set up a PayPal account without my parents knowing, Do I have to uses my real address? and phone number (don't have a mobile) Or something, I am 15 and have a debite card

 

Yes, use your real information but don't submit a social security number or i.d. Put in your real full name, phone number, then attach your debit card.

After that I don't suggest holding too much in it at one time (stay under $200) incase something happens and you need i.d or something.

 

It's possible to put fake stuff and still link a bank about, but it could be one of the reasons my paypal got perm limited ;d

 

If it were me I wouldn't want my bank account linked to fake information. I wouldn't want to potentially exclude myself from paypal's services in the future.

 

Always put real stuff as if they request photo ID etc and you don't have it they're gonna screw you over and refuse to let you at your funds. They never send you any mail anyways so just do it.

 

yes, because if they find out your information is fake they can lock your account.

 

Real information is needed. Basically, after receiving/sending funds they will request some sort of valid proof of who you are. Fake information will not work, due to the aforementioned.

If you're 15 and don't have your own bank account/statements, it's better to simply ask your parents, and use their information.

If not, your account will be locked and funds suspended for ~ 6 months.
