Visa Pre-Paid?

I'm looking to verify my paypal, however I don't have a bank account or CC to verify it with. I've heard that you can use Pre-Paid cards to verify your paypal. Can I pick those up here on sythe? If so, how much are on the card usually and how much would I pay for one?

If you have any info regarding verifying a paypal account, feel free to speak freely. I won't report relevant input as spam.

 

They changed their system, prepaid cards show up as giftcards now in their servers so you will need a Bank account (savings or checkings) or a credit card.

Also if you want to prevent paypal from locking your account if you plan to do a lot of transactions, you will need to sooner or later have someone (most likely your parents or if you're 18, yourself) add their social security # in.

So many issues with Paypal and me. At this point I plan on paying the fee for SVU and never touching paypal again, but then that'd ruin the point of using a paypal account to register?

I had this problem, my advice is that you create a bank account (depending on the bank it can be free, you just have to deposit some money) then ask for a debit card (which doesn't require that you have a job or other requirements from a credit card). Then, my bank at least, has an online business that creates virtual credit cards from your debit card connected to your bank account.

Also I verified my paypal some years ago (not sure if it works anymore), when I didn't have a debit card by sending them proof of residence (like the water bill) and my ID.

You can get a VBA (Virtual Bank Account) and have the paypal verified. It may not be easy though, I used to know of a few legit sites that sold em but I have no clue whatsoever what they were anymore.

Never heard of a VBA so I can't respond to that. I thought the only option was to link your bank account? Why can't you do that? Maybe you could ask your parents if they're willing to let you do so.

 

I'd rather not get them involved with what I do on sythe Hard to explain the e-blackmarket to parents. Plus I'm going off to college real soon, If I don't find an anonymous way to do things I'll just link a bank account when I create one.

 

These days everything can be done online; it's pretty simple to open up a bank account. Give it a whirl and see if you can do it online, otherwise just go to your local bank and set up an account.

 

I was going to open one up next year, so I'll just wait.

Hey man, I don't know what everyone's saying but I got my paypal verified using a Visa Prepaid card, in australia it is known as a "Load and Go" card, they sell it at the post office and you just upload money in the hours they are open with NO FEES AT ALL. I know its pretty amazing but some people might be right about paypal recognizing these cards as gift cards now but the post office in australia has done really well because they even let me make an account linking to my credit card and I can find my transactions on there that I have made. Hope this helps.

 

That's different, those work because they are practically debit cards, but you need to be 18 (at least in the states you do) to register/purchase one.
