Your PROUDEST Runescape Achievement?

Well, the best year of RS post I made got me to thinking about my long history of Runescape, I will re-post it here for you to read:


2005- Being a complete noob, matriculated to Runescape from the Miniclip game "Robot Rage". I originally thought that Runescape was entirely linear and that tutorial island was what the whole game would be like, always having a set goal or purpose. Then I got thrown into Lumbridge and had no clue what to do.
2006- Dreaming of Guthix armour and a green mask. Finally achieved it, then dreamed of getting a Green Partyhat. It was probably 20-25M at the time..so much money.
2007- Attaining Green Partyhat. Attaining Dragon Chainbody at like 82 combat (& still being invincible in Castle Wars). To this day, 2007 Runescape was my most successful year in terms of personal gratification. I LOVED 2007
2008- Working towards 99 untrimmed RC cape via old school abyss (this started in 2007).
2009- Getting 99 RC, bought Blue Partyhat & Red to go along with Green (99 rc gave me like 350m, and I bought the hats when there was no free trade so they were a lot cheaper).
2010-2013: Got more 99s, dreamed of a partyhat set. Thought my goal was over when I accidentally, like a complete dimwit, traded my red by accident to a friend instead of loaning it (friend of 5+ years, knew it was a mistake but refused to give it back). Through merchanting and a good samaritan giving me a White Partyhat, I finally got a set on February 18th, 2013. Then joined 2007, where I have since made 60M+ merchanting and bought myself all of the old god armours, a phat set, and a dragon chainbody in that version of the game as well (Which were my only goals). The good samaritan gave me the hat because they had been friends with me since early 2005 and knew it was my ultimate goal, I have since made a good amount and have given a lot of it back to feel like I truly earned the set...but I will never forget that act of selflessness. It really gave me hope for the world, as corny as that sounds given it's just Runescape.
2014-2015: Increased my Runescape 3 wealth by over 15-20 Billion gp (not including my OSRS gp gains), got numerous 99's such as Slayer, got 1-88 Runecrafting in Old School Runescape (Over 500k Nature Runes made), and got a max cash stack in OSRS through merchanting/rc.


Possible goals now: 99 slayer in RS 3. 99 RC untrimmed in 07. - Update 2/12/2015 - Got 99 Slayer, have 88/99 rc in 07



My proudest moment is finally achieving my Phat set, but also the amount of work I put into it. Most of my gp came from RC when it was such a grind and insanely profitable. There was a famous RCER known as Penguin Kev who was well known for making 1,000,000 nature runes (twice, actually). We were pretty good friends on RS and would chat a lot. When he quit, as a result of being hacked, I continued to RC. I got to 20M rc XP when it was still insanely profitable and partyhats were still pretty cheap, especially by todays standards (even when accounting for inflation).

What is your absolute proudest RS achievement, 99 RC and my Partyhat set are my two most amazing accomplishments, even to this day it puts a smile on my face knowing that I did it, especially through so much adversity in game (a game infested by scammers and greedy people especially back in the older days, as reaffirmed by the fact that rampant scamming occurs in 07 RS)

 

I enjoyed getting a lot of relatively difficult 99's at a level 113 on Runescape pre-eoc. I got 120 dunge, 99 slayer, 99 summoning etc without being maxed combat.

 

Awesome man! Yeah, combat played a little bit of a role for me too, when I got my untrimmed RC cape. I got it in either 08 or 09 as I stated, and I was only level 90. A lot of people thought it was really cool, a level 90 with an untrimmed RC cape. So that's why that achievement is so sacred to me, despite 99 rc being way easier now.

My proudest moment, was back in around 07, when I finally scrapped up enough coin to purchase a D chain, around 15m they were back then!

Probably the moment I finished my tank.
Was just a 80 defence 77 prayer maxed tank with all chaotics fully quested with SOA. Took forever so the moment I finished it was my proudest moment.

 

Getting completionist

Got permanently banned about a month later for botting however...

My greatest accomplishment was when back in '08 I earned my first 1 million coins. For the longest time I was known at school as the guy who successfully obtained over 1 million GP (A title, that was hard to come by lol).

 

Dude...that's sick.

Even more than that I think, I got my first one around 23M the same year, god they were so boss back then.

I remember I earned my first 1M in 2005, I asked somebody why it went from 999k to 1000k, because I knew 10M showed as 10M so I noobily asked why 999k plus 1k didnt = "1M"

 

I think my proudest moment was when I bought my first whip. It was 3.3m back in 2005 and I had spent a very long time at the druids north of Ardy gathering unids. I still have that same whip today although it's been retired since Drygores were released.

 

I still have my original green partyhat and mask. And the guthix that went with it.

I remember my first whip as well, I spent a month at rock crabs getting the level to use it.

 

and that story is real lol , i was allways playing wondering how level 3's had full bronze, i myself was like combat 55 with full steel on training at the level 2 mans then i followed some member guy and he gave me tips what to do

a world opened for me, even though i go back where me and my irl friend were killing mans the whole time.

I was the same exact way, I never knew what exactly to do for the longest time. It was like I said when I started, I thought the whole game was linear like tut island. I was such a noob. :laugh:

 

Mine was getting Farming also. Took about 3 months and 300M.

Now this brings back old memories.
8-9years ago (i'm 20now) friends told me about runescape.
English is something i didnt know back then.

So friends on school told me about this game, i whas going to check it out.
Creating it whas easy, then i had to start playing.
My accounts always seemed to get stuck so i KEEPT remaking accounts. I probly made over 10+accounts.

Next day i told it to my friend and he whas going to come to my house to help me.
Ofcourse noone of my accounts were stuck it whas just me who didnt understand english!

(I should get some english lessons, i never gotten it at school. Seeing as i use english all time i'm on my computer)
