CTC Needed - God GFX

Created with Cinema 4D + Photoshop. Experimented with this for a few hours tonight. I think it came out pretty decent, but I would appreciate some ctc so I know where I am going wrong.

 

Relatively basic text in cinema 4d, can't tell if it has appropriate lighting in it due to the texture overlayed on it and personally I don't like the stroke over it. The background should be blended with the text more, not just having the text sitting on it randomly.

Some things you could do to improve your text would be to not choke it with the overlay, if you are going to have a texture on top of the text it should be subtle. Generally a gradient overlay (black at bottom, white at top) looks decent on c4d text.

I agree with everything you have said, I am going to try to redo it tonight in order to make it a lot better.

 

Personally I love it. I think the shading and colour you used looks great!

 

Simple yet very appealing the the eye, Maybea little more definition in the text to make it pop because it does blend in with the background in some areas, IMO The sizing is a little weird maybe if it was Shorter on the height it would portion it out a bit more. Defiantly dont let anyone discourage you from continuing to do work because it is always nice to see new artists.
