SVU rank

My suggestion, is for SVU's to be able to customize the colour ways of the rank, for example, instead of the normal "orange/gold" to be able to use Blue..

Sure, why not? I suppose three different colors could be uploaded and you could choose between them just like a donor rank. If it takes more than 20 minutes of work to do though then meh, forget it.

I agree, I can't really see the harm? I guess make certain colours unavailable such as yellow (admin) red (global mod) etc.

Are you suggesting the text get a color change or the image get a color change? I'd support either way, I just can't tell which you are asking for

 

I will show my support I'm not a SVU obviously but I think it would be good for people to have the colors the way that they would like. I mean it is only colors I don't really see any negatives to the idea.

 

Im talking about the icon colours! If it's possible, that would be good. Even if we had to get the colours made and apply the rank through the user centre like we do with UI/titles etc

I highly doubt that would be necessary, I'm sure someone good with graphics could make up 4-5 different colors and then they could be made available in the usercenter for everyone.

 

Yeah, I'm sure that could happen. I mean, it may be pointless but it would make a difference, and I don't see the problem in doing so. Maybe it could be integrated with Moh's point system suggestion.

 

That's actually a really cool idea, after you accumulated enough points you could unlock custom SVU colors just as you would miniranks. If this gets denied on its own I suggest you bring it up on Moh's thread as well.

It'd be neat to have all sorts of creative colors for the svu.

May I suggest that if we want this to happen, we should probably make the image ourselves? I doubt sythe will implement this if it requires his staff to make it. Not trying to exclude staff if they like the idea, I'm just thinking that we should get this done ahead of time. Anyone here good with coloring things in?

 

Yeah, agreed. But I'd first like to get an opinion or response from someone higher up to see whether or not it's possible.

I actually think it would be a good idea to have a different color for different levels of S.V.U. since Matthew said this is only step one. :')

 

Yeah, I was thinking that. I remember him saying it was only step one, maybe there is more to come!
