So, I'd like to ask any of you who are knowledgeable about military careers, which give the best opportunities when/if you leave to pursue a non-military career? I'll explain now, by 'best opportunities" I mean jobs within the military that provide training which will increase my employability and enable me to work in jobs for as high a salary as possible. I'm really looking for options which do not require specific education before hand, however please feel free to post either way! Thanks!

    Navy construction yo..

But make sure to never say "I'm military." People who say that are knuckleheads. You're a person, who joined some branch of the military. That doesn't make you shit except somebody's bitch.

I'm a 15 November, which is basically an electrician for a helicopter. We are Avionics Mechanics. It's a good career field plus will help you in the civilian world.

I'm 19 working on helicopters, doesn't get much better than that..

Dont do anything combat arms. Im an infantry officer, and although its pretty sweet shooting big guns and driving tanks around, that shit is not very marketable in the civilian world. Get a good support/logistics type job in one of the branches. Something with coms, networking, cyber security, etc and you will be SET in the civilian world.
