I mainly play on 07, is it true that 95% of their bot busting is directed towards RS3? Or was I fed a BS statistic.

Unless Jagex themselves told you this, what you were told is only an opinion.

Its opinion but that doesn't mean that it isn't correct. In 07 the ban rate seems to be normal as far as I can tell. In rs3 you can login into the client and get banned.

Something is really going on within Jagex and Goldfarmers.

Every single Goldfarmer I knew have had their farm wiped completely, these are dark times...

Simba & SMART have very much proven that false. It must be some other way that all of you people are getting hit.

Depends where you're botting, some places are near impossible to get banned at

Still doesn't explain how people are getting banned for just logging in with the powerbot client.

No, you can login and walk around for 5 minutes and the next morning you'll wake up to a nice 24 hour ban.(powerbot client).

They say its a behavior thing but its clear that they've found a way to detect who is using the client and who isn't.

Indeed, but for the same reason you also cannot claim active window names as being the red flag factor.

I used to alch quite a bit back in RS2 ages ago when randoms were still around, near the Castle Wars wall. Even if no one else was there I enjoyed watching the game; I never said a word just alched. If you're determined to meet a goal there's nothing surprising at all for repeating a tedious task for hours on in; some of us call this "dedication"...

There's multiple reports, on SRL for OSRS, of users getting 6+ hour long runs and they stay in the same general area doing the same thing. I can't even tell you length of progress reports we've had for EoC.... yet we remain hidden.

Based on what I've seen thus far I can only guess one of their detection factors has to do with checking for client modifications. While PowerBot is an obvious target for them (TRiBot I don't know, RiD I don't know) we've been using SMART to load up RS3 and run light-weight scripts (not to mention all while developing the SRL-6 library) with no problems. Sure the active client's name could be checked, true mouse & keyboard status checks, official client usage check, ect... but why aren't SMART users having issues?

No doubt as I said before it's within their power to detect SMART as well, but if injection bot users are getting banned as opposed to users using a normal client loader (even with a hacked canvas, mouse, keyboard, and OGL-interception) then it would be wise to consider other factors than the client name, no?

No, no one has been banned on RS3 from using SMART to this day. Perhaps you did not read around enough.

    This is an impossible claim.
Whenever someone posts that they have been banned on botting forums they get the simple answer of 'no pics no proof' or 'must have used other bots'. Further some people would probably just rage quit and not bother informing the bot makers.

Jagex can only go so far with this, before they are invading privacy. Not that they have even came remotely close yet,but isn't there something we could do to false the checks? Like send back false readings when they check?

Like I said before. They haven't even got close enough. If you would have read my message closely enough. It was a joke...
