Are pures completely dead? [Help]

Hey ladies and gents,

Pretty much as soon as EOC was released I stopped playing entirely. I had been working on my pure for years (primarily botting) and had pretty much just finished maxing it when the updates happened. Said forget it, I'm done, and haven't touched it since.

I think I'm going to give EOC/RS3 a chance, but my question is there anything I can do with my account now or should I really just max it? Because before the different stages of defence were 1, 20, 30, 45, 70 and 99. With updates, I can no longer wear addy, RFD gloves etc. What should I do?

 

I'd work on all the skills you have that are 90 or above for now, like dung and runecrafting, or you could work on your cb skills like summoning and attack.

Personally I'd just max it, all your skills are pretty high and you'd get there in no time, but don't bot it! Play by hand and you'll get back into the game and actually enjoy it.

 

Bot it to max and sell it. If you primarily enjoyed PvP, it is almost pointless to play now.

 

I liked PvP at smaller levels, didn't get much into it at higher levels (yet). I'm not necessarily looking to sell it as of right now, I'm more or less just asking if there's any reason for me to stay at a pure level of defence or should I just max it?

I've never really gotten into PvM as I've always had smaller pures, but I'm interested in trying it out.

 

I have a pure on EoC works nicely to drygore with and I primarily use void it's decently fun but I often still find myself skilling more than pvm.

 

What's your defence?

First off you need to get attack to 99, then find a good level to settle your defence at.

 

I find the higher your level the worse off you are. Low level pures (1-75) have more luck in PvP than higher level pures. The higher your level the more your defense matters when fighting players in the same level range.

 

I have 50 defence.

 

I would max it. Just bot it bro. And then do some PVM see how you like it. If you dont then just sell it
