If someone goes on paypal, clicks the withdraw button and enters my bank details, then wait a few days for the money to get in my bank, will they be able to chargeback in any possible way?

Charge breaks are always possible with Pay pal. Whether the money is in your Paypal account or not. Why would someone have your bank details?

depends , in relation to i.p changes in which you commonly use to access your account they'll normally limit it before you can withdraw

No because your paypal name will have to same with the bank account details your adding and therefore you'll be charged a fee of €3 and the funds will be returned.

You cant withdraw to a foreign bank without having the paypal attached to the account. meaning the paypal account owner will be able to empty your whole bank account. I dont think thats what you want.

If they're in the UK do what I do and have them wire it straight to your bank account (UKBT). I pay people via my bank's website (I'm with Halifax), so they receive it instantly and no chargeback is possible.

They could easily say that they had been hacked and since they have your bank information, you would look like the hacker. I don't think that you can even claim someone else's bank information as your own since paypal has ways to verify that and it would obviously not be the same name on the bank account as the one on the paypal

    1. Like people are saying, I don't think it would work at all.
    2. There's a good chance that even if it did work, they could ring up Paypal and they'd call your bank and get it back for them.
    3. Even if it did work and they didn't take it back, would you be comfortable with having your account number and routing number out there, allowing people to possibly draw on the account?

Get them to use another payment method.

Interesting idea. I agree with Video - depending on the amount being transferred it would be very easy for the user to cry unauthorized fraud. Paypal would potentially pursue you criminally again depending on the amount as they would reimburse the user. It could get pretty messy especially if the other guy starts lying. It would be even worse than the usual negative balance chargeback situation where a collection company just sends a letter to you.
