Need a computer that can run 5 bots.

I am sick of playing runescape on my macbook pro. And i am finding it very difficult to bot accounts with this computer.

i currently have about 5 duel arena staking accounts, but i would like to create atleast 10 more.

What kind of pc should i buy, and will it be able to handle 5+ bots botting rockcrabs or something? This is all my computer will be used for.

I would use a VPN... keep your macbook.. and just pay like 10-20 dollars a month to bot... They usually have good specs with no lag

 

I have a MacBook Pro and I can run easily 5+. Just take that money and invest it in a higher quantity of RAM (Random Access Memory)

Of course, it pushes my laptop to the max and I need ventilation to keep it from overheating, (which I recommend also investing in; lost a laptop in the past because I fried the motherboard just go to Best Buy and get yourself a good laptop mat that has fans on it) but it still works. Various online stores will sell 8gb and 16gb (highest is obviously the best) RAM. I'm pretty sure the Apple Store will put it in there for you. In all you could spend maybe $300-ish.
And what Coleman said, he might thinking of a VPS (Virtual Private Server).
VPN is a Virtual Private Network only changing your IP. You'll run into more problems with a VPN than you're real online connection. As you don't know the previous RS-history of one, you can have no clue what you're getting into. Even if you do, it lowers the speed of your internet anyway and wastes money and time. i wouldn't use a vpn at all, much too risky for your accounts, since you won't be the only player who use this vpn, and fagex will detect from which ip range you are botting, would be a bit too risky to bot at a vpn for me

A mITX z87 mobo, costs 100$?
A 3570k, costs 170$
16GB costs 60-100$?
A nice PSU, Dont be a cheaparse here
A 60GB SSD, 50$
A mITX case, Put as much as you want/can here
So that is mabey 500USD and a really really nice computer minus a graphics card, and since this will only be a botting computer this will work easily

 

Why would he need 16GB RAM ??? With 3570k he can run max 7-8 bots, thats as low as 4GB ram not 16GB, so I think that 8GB will be enough.!

 

You havent ran powerbot for more than 48hours havent you? Since it drains the ram like crazy then, and 7-8 bots with 3570k... are you crazy? I can run like 12-15 bots and do other things on mine

 

Who said he want to use "powerbot". He can run Simba/TriBot and they take maximally (SIMBA 200mb ram) , (TRIBOT 512MB).. + if you want to run 12-15 bots on 3570k they will all lag at 5fps ,so its better to run 10 not lagging, especially if you are using color base Simba

 

My 12-15 aint lagging But that is true, did not count that in, but asumed he would be using powerbot since it is the most popular.
Also now with the release of rsbot5 (powerbots latest version) they support multi threading better now days so you should be able to add up some more.
Also 8gb more of ram isent such a huge expense and it never really hurts to throw in there if he wants to run some servers of sorts

 

Well if he wants pure botting computer ,he does not need 16GB ram or SSD disk.
Anyway with my 3770k I can run 14 bots (TriBot, not lagging) and 11 bots (Simba ,not lagging) ,dunno about Powerbot ,because I do not use it.

 

a 60gb SSD is in sweden cheaper than the cheapest HDD, also lower power drainage and becuse of that lower heat generation
16GB ram, I have already defended this point, if he uses powerbot let him have 16GB other wise pick the amount you feel needed

 

He can still buy some used old HDD for 10 bucks e.g. .
60GB is not that much if you consider that windows takes 3/4 of them

 

My win7 takes 16GB, Got 36GB left after 1024/1000mb thingy

I'm taking that you mean VPS and not VPN, completely different things there. A VPS is actually not a bad option, depending on your profits per hour it wouldn't take long for it to cover the cost of the VPS. Jagex can't ban you just for being on a specific range of IP's, so that's a no as well. FragVPS got new servers and if your IP gets flagged for whatever reason they'll just swap it for a new one. There's a thread about their VPS's here, worth checking out.
