Jagex is retarded

So my account got hacked today, possible keylogger or something who knows.

The only way I could manage to make it to the recover account form, was by loading up runescape 3 and then from there selecting forgotten password. It makes no sense to go through all that bullshit. When you click forgotten password on the website it now says to open up runescape 3, let it load up completely, and then click forgotten password so you can be re-directed back to the main website to type in an email, and if you dont have the right one I don't even know what the next move is. God dammit Jagex.

Edit: I'm not sure what's goin on with my account but suddenly it's like it vanished into thin air. It's ont appearing on the highscores on new or old rs...I'm confused as fuck now.

 

Jagex's website is a maze. There is no clear website structure that lets you get to a page you are looking for, and the search function does more harm than good.

As for your account disappearing, check and see if the display name is changed, if you were hacked, they might have changed it.

Add your account name and see if it has the same name. I've heard of this happening before and the name was different.

The new recovery system is baffling. I'm not sure why you can only access the recovery via the RS client/game now... but that's how it is.

There's only a few reasons why your account would not appear on the high scores:
1) Banned/Locked
2) Name Changed
3) No Membership

I hope you manage to get your account back in order. Emailing [email protected] or [email protected] should be a good start.

 

why does every1 always blame jagex ? r own fault u got keylogged or whatever , get more info and u get ur damn acc back
