Is RWT Breaking RL Rules?

Hm, I always thought if you broke their laws they could actually take legal action? I remember speaking about another game with a friend and I was told if you create another version of the game what we call "retros" it's taking the game itself, creating it again, and giving yourself unlimited money in that game on a different severer *kind of like SS* I thought Runescape could take you to court for that?

I'm not sure about RWT though, just thought I'd ask.

 

Yeah in some situations it's fully understandable for them to take legal action, like for creating modified version of their client, and, like you mentioned, copying copyright'ed material (AKA private servers). But I can't see them going as far as legal action against RWT'ers. They've also never stated any claims directed towards this, only that it was breaking in-game rules ya know.
