Best champion(s) for each role?

Since I'm trying to start a new, what champions do you think are the best (For in-lane, helping out the team, etc) for each role?

 

Top - Tryndamere, Renekton

Mid - No one really shines right now since Jayce is getting hardcore nerfed. Test out some champs and see who you like.

Jungle - Jarvan IV, Zac, Sejuani

ADC - Caitlyn is the easiest but try anyone

Support - Janna, Sona, Zyra

 

Really think Zyra should be in support over Leona/Taric?

I was also thinking, Nautilus in the jungle. But I don't see him much.

 

Nautilus is really great. Totally forgot about him. Leona is also a really good pick for support. There is no one who really stands out as "OP" in my opinion right now so really try champs out and figure out who you're good with!

 

Top - Jax

Mid - Katarina

Jungle - Jarvan IV & Warwick

ADC - Caitlyn

Support - Nunu

 

Top: Can be used from time to time, but not someone who I'd ever main.

Mid: Not Viable in higher ELO (Imo)

Jungle: J IV is a viable choice.

ADC: Nothing to say

Support: Definitely would never use Nunu. His late game is horrible, and all he can do is a poor harass + Blood boil.

 

Each champion has different playstyle and fit to different teams (hard cc, hard initiate, high dmg output, high sustain, good split push) so there's no receipt of taking "good" champion. Even if you master Heimerdinger you can carry games with him, so you have to try a lot of champions. It's much easier to improve your skills by playing 1-2 roles and if you master them (and it's boring for you playin just 2 lanes) you can try other lanes. If you play 2 lanes you have big variety of champions that you can play there so it shouldn't be boring for you.

 

I would not worry about the best champs but instead find a champ you think would be fun and master him. This is what most pro players and I did myself in order to get to the really high elos. Once we are here you learn through observation what are the best champs and how to play them.

 

I mainly play jungle and can tell you that I carried myself to plat 2 from gold 3 playing nautilus, amumu and nunu only in jungle.

Jungle - Voli or Udyr (Utility)
Adc - Graves or Ezreal for me
Support - Taric, Leona or Lulu

I don't play mid so i'm not making a comment on it.

Jayce never really was a mid lane champ tbh. I'd have to say assassins are great for mid lane.

Akali is a good champ to use for newcomers.

 

Really depends on our play style. Yes, there are champs that shine over others, but they all can be played successfully.

Try them out! Don't be afraid to make custom practice games with bots. That's what I normally do when I first get a champion just to test the waters so to speak. See what champions you like to play and just have fun with it.

 

Top: Garen obvs i main him to op

Adc: Draven because hes to op or Ez
Jungle: Udyr cuz of his new skin.. or Lee sin
Support: Gangplank -.- those Q's

 

Uh...i'm not sure now as I haven't played in weeks but Jayce was definitely a mid laner. One of the safest strongest picks you could use. Have you seriously missed the influx of AD mids?

I'd say the strongest 4 champions right now for each role are as follows:

Top: Elise, Jayce, Shen, Kennen

Mid: Diana, Ryze, Twisted Fate, Zed

Bot: Vayne, Vayne, Vayne Vaynu, Nami, Lulu, Janna, Nunu (Watch out though, jannas gonna get her global passive nerfed, which is one of the reasons she's so strong)

Jungle: Lee sin (Insec strong), Nunu (lol) , Hecarim, Jarvan

 

Your trolling right? Blood boil, when maxed, is a considerable steroid for any ADC or, well, ally in general.

Ice blast is a powerful zoning tool in the early game for denying cs and experience, and at level 2 provides disabled harder than Summoner spell: exhaust (Minus the damage reduction), that combined with exhuast will completely disable the enemy adc from doing a lot of damage (attack speed reduce) which is invaluable in team fights and in-lane duels.

 

I used to main Elise. A long time ago top lane, before any of the nerfs. I say she is considerably better jungle, but she's getting another set of nerfs on the next patch which is already on the PBE.
