Buying Gold Question

Hi,

I've not played RuneScape since 2008. My account was banned due to botting. I'm interested in starting again but want to kick-start the account by buying gold.

What is the likelihood of a week old account getting caught? I was thinking of buying 200m, is that too much? Should I buy less instead or is it just too risky for such a new account?

200M is pretty safe IMO, I've RWT'd at least 5B on my personal account and not been banned.

 

That's a lot! But from the looks of it currency of the game has fallen.

But as I'll be doing it on a new account, 2 days old, you still think 200m would be safe?

 

If you get some basic stats trained then stake it, it shouldn't even come off as suspicious.

 

Alright, I'll give it a month or two. Also gives me time to be 100% sure if I want to play the game or not

No, I don't recommend asian websites etc, more chance of being caught. Deal with someone reputable here on Sythe.

 

So much more gold being traded everyday. 200m is nothing so you would be fine.

 

I doubt you would be caught, most of the people I know who get caught trade 10-15b+ at a time.

 

As Roary said, in between your trades you should cut the trees around you, use them on a bonfire, thieve the low level men/women around you, actually make sure it looks like you're a legit player and get your skills up, even when you're not trading it wouldn't hurt to run a bot on it to get your skills up so you look legit.

You said in between trades I should do X and Y. This has me confused. How does trading works now? I assumed it would of just been a duel or PKing? Or is that no a safe thing to do. So I'm looking to buying 200m on a fresh/new account from someone on here, how would that go down?

 

Honestly Jagex are making it harder for themselves to spot and ban people who RWT. With the recent release of 07scape, Jagex has allowed cash transfer between the game. From my knowledge, buying cash from someone on here or a gold selling website will look exactly the same as buying cash from someone on eoc/07, so it doesn't really look that suspicious to Jagex now. Shows how stupid Jagex is with their choices. But there is always a risk when RWTing, so watch out. Doing what the guys posted above wouldn't be a bad idea.

 

I believe you are wrong sir, they're more cautious and can detect RWT traders very fast , just saw a thread around somewhere..

 

Are you talking about Eoc or 07 gp ? Either way i think you would be fine. Just buy it from a trusted seller here on sythe, they know what there doing. Dont trust those asian website lol..
